Essex Duck — Local services in Essex

This is a gem of a find. Who would have thought a rubber duckie could bring such joy? I have been wanting to take my friend for the longest time. She loves rubber ducks. Finally we got to go and it was amazing. There were hundreds of different themed decorated duckies of various sizes. My favorites were the jewel toned and clear ducks. The duck who started it all was a rather large one named Penelope. There was a nice man that was really patient with our duck selection. He owns the shop with his family. He mentioned that his wife and daughter had bought Penelope and thought. There needs to be a store that sells duckies. I am glad they did. My friend was so excited about it. The best duck is one with a good squeaker. We found a few. We also found a couple that don't have a squeaker but were equally as cute. I know I want to go back for the one that...

This business is owned by the same people who own chocolate geek, also known as truffle shots. They are right next door to each other, so I would definitely check out both places.

I want to go back so I can spend more time at the duck shop. I do not necessarily collect rubber duckies, but this place will make you want to buy a couple. They have a very large selection and I think it is worth the trip. I did buy one as a gift.
