They let my kid drowns in swim lessons and I had to save him! It’s a really great place to take the kids swimming! Friendly staff however they lack with safety. I had my son do swimming lessons and he was doing great we loved the blonde haired instructor with the sun glasses she was amazing. My son did the same level again and they gave him a New instructor with a 16 old little girl training with her!!! They didn’t even pay attention to my child no life guard Saw MY SON DROWNING literally flailing for help during his swim lessons this teenager was svrewing off and the instructor was only paying attention to this new little girl that shouldn’t have even been on level two swim lessons so no one was paying attention to my son or the other boy! I SAVED MY SON from dieing in there pool and none of them could save him. Life hairdos and instructors right next to him in the pool and I ran to grab my child out of the freaking pool!!!!!! My child almost died because there lack of instructor skills life guards and they way the girl was running g the swim lessons. It was awful. Took my kid home and he’s traumatized. He was doing so good also!!! I thought he would be with his last swim instructor yet they put my child in the deep end with new i truck or no one went over pool rules like the first class he was in. Epic fail on there swim instructors and life guards!!! Definitely need more training or not 16 yr old girls training to be treading kids to swim. Something has to change before it happens to another child in that class with those...
Read moreUnbelievably bad experience. Paid for showers and hit the family shower as suggested by the staff. It was occupied so we patiently waited 15 minutes - no problem for us as we're flexible. Got into the family shower room and 20 minutes later were rudely interrupted by a voice from the other side saying it had been 30 minutes and other guests were waiting and our time was up. We quickly and confusedly packed up - (1.5 showers in!) and left. On our way out we passed the other family shower room and it was open and free to use. I had to request a refund for my son's shower and the staff had no explanation as to why we were kicked out or treated so rudely only that "there's a 30 minute limit" and that two other guests had attempted to use the family shower while we were there. I suppose because we are traveling through the area and not "regulars" this I an acceptable way to treat paying customers? Headed to the YMCA now and I suggest anyone else looking for a shower/pool/work out do the same. Shameful and...
Read moreThank you guys so much. I just want to say there are a lot of things I don't like about Eugene. But Echo Hollow Pool really is a place of healing. it's not just the wholesome atmosphere and the services like aquatic classes and the out door hot tub and the small work out area upstairs, but also the other women who go there are so nice. It's easy to feel like part of a community here. Echo Hollow Pool is so special, when you walk in the doors it's like you kind of check out of the chaos and filth of Eugene and enter into a state of bliss and wellness. the dude from Texas who works the front desk is also so inviting. Thank you for the scholarship, it's the biggest help, I really appreciate it. Y'all do so much to keep your community healthy. I appreciate you guys. Thanks again so much for the gift of health and wellness. Also, your facility is always so clean and well kept. Echo Hollow Pool is one of the best places and things the city of Eugene has to...
