Kaleidoscope of Times — Local services in Eureka Township

Today, I visited Kaleidoscope in my search for treasures to bring into our new home. During a year long furnishing process, we have discovered that a pre-loved vase filled with fresh flowers, a slightly nicked set of picture frames holding old family photos, a gorgeous refinished dresser as well as a collection of baskets storing magazines adds warmth to the rooms and a feeling of history to the entire house. It makes us smile every time we find a "used" treasure. Today, I was on the hunt for a few pieces of furniture from our childhood homes. A trunk to store quilts, a pie safe cabinet to hide a tv, an old character desk for a small.library were all on the shopping list. I was amazed to find that Kaleidoscope had so many choices for every item on my list! It took hours to walk thru this store due to the many unique collections along with the furniture. Well I gess this is one of those places that the rating depends on your personality and likes. Not really my style ... but I guess I am a guy. My wife and Grandaughter (21yr old) really enjoyed it.

It is a huge building with several rooms / areas filled with every old or antique-ish thing you could imagine. But there is no Rhyme or Reason to what you will find where. It looks like when they get some old house or wharehouse or whatever with stuff they put the stuff in an area they recently cleaned out (occasionally they obviously consolidate picked over areas). I found Fishing reels and equipment in probaly 10 different places. The same with other things. You just have to go through the whole place looking at every shelf. With that said I did find 2 nice fishing reels in good condition like ones I used to Love. This was the 2nd time I have been there n the person I talked to was quite rude I asked for an item n the guy went to the back n we found wat we was looking for and if course it was burried n I said I'd give then a day or two if need be I to get it out well the guy said to go to another place to c if they have wat we r looking for and if they don't have it come back n they would figure out something so we went n talked to the lady at the counter and everything seemed fine n we started to walk away to leave and over heard the lady say well I'm not digging it out seriously that's just not right so I personally will NEVER go back to a place that is so rude like that like really WOW a very nice way to loose customer but don't get me wrong they have a lot of nice things to check out but I don't care for people being so...
