Thursday flea and farmers markets are really thin. Maybe 10 booths inside and 10 outside with the vegetable vendors. When it’s crowded, it’s really good, but lately it has been really bad. I asked a few vendors and they told me that new management took over and no longer allows the vendors to keep their products on site overnight so over half of them have pulled out and the little building just outside of the pavilion is now closed with no vendors inside… same with the building opposite the field where the restrooms are. Read moreWell folks, get what you can while you can! Vendors have been booted out of 2 buildings and the remaining building will not allow anything to be left on a weekly basis. Vendors must remove all items even though the building will not be used. Apparently the Board of County Commissioners has deemed it unnecessary to gain income from the now unused buildings. This is also the only market in the area to force vendors to abide by the very restrictive rules that impede business. For instance, gates are locked until 1 p.m. and you will not be let out, even in the event of a family emergency. Perhaps you had a flat tire and you are late to enter? Too bad ,you cannot enter with your vehicle! You will be allowed to hand carry your merchandise in by hand, which is placing another burden...

There is sour dough bread, cakes and goodies, fruits veggies, eggs, plants, home goods, honey, and much more. In the main building pet supplies galore( beds, leashes, etc. all sizes at great prices. Also, lots of tools and variety for everyone. I'd like to say, if you buy at a flea market you are dealing with the end person, not some cold corporate owned box store. So, with that in mind everyone that buys at a flea market is supporting a local families, just something to think about. Summertime is slower than colder months but don't let it stop you from getting...
