I went in to get a cut and color. I have cancer and have been growing my hair back for about 6 months. I asked the stylist to recommend a cut. She had no suggestions and really didnt speak to me the entire time. She completely butchered my hair. It is so bad, I was embarrassed to go to Publix afterwards. I did not say anything to her because I didnt know what to say I was so upset. I came home and my husband could not believe how bad the cut was. He knew how excited I was to get a fresh cut after losing all of my hair from chemo over a year ago. It cost me 121 plus tip. I had to get it fixed today from another establishment. The lady who tried to fix it kept saying how chopped up it was. The staff at the new salon kept coming over to look at how bad it was. We had 5o out a plan together on how I could eventually have a good style. I went to the Hair Cuttery to try to feel pretty after all I have gone through and left disappointed and embarrassed. I sent a complaint through the website and have heard nothing back. I would not recommend. Look at the picture attached on how uneven the sides are and the terrible style that...
Read moreI read some of the reviews below me and realized I had the same experience. Noivia cut my daughter’s hair. I am happy with the cut she received. But the lady made me out to be like a horrible person. She proceeded to tell my daughter that her hair was going to fall out because I don’t use the expensive soap. She also told me that I’m going to give my daughter cancer and when we left my daughter said she was feeling very sad and scared because of what the lady said. This is very unprofessional and I’m not saying I shouldn’t use better soap but you cannot make a mother and a child feel this way and very sad when you child leaves and said she heard everything that was said. Including the lady shaking her head and finger at me the whole time. I felt very uncomfortable the entire time and my daughter should never have to experience that or feel that way. We have been in before and had a good experience. But we do not plan on returning after...
Read moreWent in for a perm and asked for the edges of my hair to be trimmed, when I paid the total was more than what I was expecting but I didn’t think about it. I looked at my receipt later and noticed they charged me $22 for a hair cut, which was not made known to me anytime throughout my appointment. When I called to question it, I was told that anytime scissors touch your hair you get charged for a hair cut. Beware of that if you’re unsure!!! Wasn’t too thrilled about getting charged $22 for half an inch to be trimmed off. Then a month later I noticed an underneath section of my hair wasn’t curly/the perm didn’t take. I again called to ask them if I could get it fixed. I guess I waited too long because I was going to be charged for a partial perm. Part of that was on me, but I paid almost $100 the first time and I expected it to be done right. I will never...
