Burger King — Restaurant in Eustis

Even on the rare occasion that they get my order right normally something else is wrong either the grease is old and you can taste it or the buns are stale or the burgers cold. This Burger King is one of the worst Burger King's I've ever been to I know the question is why do I keep going back but it's the closest thing to my house and when I'm tired after working a long hard day at work and I just want to grab a sandwich they're too incompetent to make it right. They even sold me a whopper one time when they had no WhopperBurns which means that you can't sell Whoppers and then when I ask my money back for the difference because they tried to give me a junior Whopper they told me they couldn't open register and I had to wait till the next manager came on shift 30 minutes later or the time that they put mayonnaise and lettuce on my chicken parmesan I don't know about you but I think the combination of mayonnaise lettuce and marinara sauce sounds disgusting and I wasn't going to eat it but they looked at me and treated me like I was being unreasonable for wanting a changed. Or the time I went and got 20 nuggets to split up between the family asked for some sweet and sour sauce got the bag the girl tells me she put me a free apple pie in there because I had to wait so long drove away from the drive-thru looked in the bag there's not a single sauce had to park get out go inside and ask for some sweet and sour which kind of negates the whole reason I went through drive-through...

I usually stop at this Burger King when I’m working this side in Eustis. Today, I stopped and the dining room was closed. Really needed the restroom but they told me to go around and go through the drive-through. The menu board was blurry and I could hardly see the numbers on the board. How did the number one with cheese and heavy onions made it a large and they told me my total and asked me to pull around. When I pulled in the first window to pay, the lady was very nice and friendly. I paid the $9.94 for my number one whopper cheese with fries. The woman thanked me and asked me to pull forward. When I got to the second window, the lady handed me the large Coke and asked me, Do you want any condiments; salt,ketchup, or pepper? I said sure. My order was right out and she said, “ thank you, hon.” I said you’re welcome and have a great day. The first thing I did was stick my straw in my Coke and take a big drink. It was really watered down and not nice. The fries were hot and fresh not over cooked just right. They were lightly salted and tasted great. The whopper with cheese was hot and fresh. The lettuce was crisp and Green. Onions were crisp and no centerpieces on the burger. The tomatoes were ripe and juicy. The food made up for the dining room being closed and no bathroom. Overall...

This is odd for me to post such a positive review for a fast food chain, but given all the negative reviews that I read, I feel a positive review was earned for our experience today. I’ve had many a meal at BK. We were honestly reluctant in going here because of the reviews but we were driving though town and had hungry kids in the car. We took our chance, ordered our food. We were kind and respectful and they reciprocated. While we were the only ones there tonight, the wait at the window was noticeably longer than other fast food experiences. When we finally got our food, we did the stereotypical thing of pulling into a spot and checking our meals for accuracy. Everything was perfect. I mean that. It was actually perfect. Not just on what we ordered but I honestly have not had that good of a burger at any other BK location! I almost took a picture of the burger. I kid you not, it actually looked like the picture. Bun was soft, patty was hot, lettuce was crispy and cool, tomatoes were nicely sized. The fries were perfectly seasoned and hot. I was unexpectedly surprised which is why I felt compelled in writing this review. I am more than willing to wait extra long at a window to get a quality meal like that. To the staff working tonight on 6/29/22, kudos. Well done, keep up...
