As an old school Catholic who was bought up understanding the power of carrying a pocket medal/token, (My dad carried a similar size pocket medal/token his entire life that he received while in WWII,) maybe it's a mind thing but after carrying these St Peregrine Pocket Tokens and saying the prayers several times a day, I feel like I have a special friend of a higher power who is with me and who is helping me as I go through my journey of beating this disease.
