Plenty of spacious, parking spaces to chose from during the day, & well lighted secure parking lot at night, however parking tends to get a little cramped on weekends, & some evenings during the weekday depending on the specific day of the week, discounted sales, or promotional day advertisements are scheduled for where crowds of customers tend to naturally be more greater, & busier in comparison to average weekday crowds. Overall, the store was pretty clean, & sanitized to prevent the spread of Covid-19, with a hand sanitizer station located up front near the doors of the main entrance after you enter the store provided for anyone to use. Other Covid-19 required protocols were advertised throughout the store. i.e.(the listing of mandatory mask requirements for any customer or associate entering the store, along with (6') six foot visually spaced stickers for customers to stand on when waiting in line before checkout.) The store inventory & merchandise was pretty well organized, with lots of good quality second hand items to choose from marked down to very discounted prices compared to other local retail department store prices, which potentially could save you a lot of money in savings, if you have the patience, & time to search for the bargains & deals before...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWorst of the Value Villages in the greater Seattle area, IMO. High prices, no public restrooms (every other VV around has a restroom), and you have to leave any bag bigger than a small purse in a locker by the main entrance.
The prices at all Value Villages stores are ridiculous now, and their return/exchange policy sucks. At least Goodwill allows you to return items and get store credit, AND most (if not all) of them still have fitting rooms. Value Village has gotten rid of fitting rooms, so you have no way of knowing if something even fits you before buying it. So if you get it home and find you donāt want it after all, you have to go back and find something that costs the same amount or more to exchange it for. And if thereās nothing in the store you want, you have to keep going back until you find something, or go out of your way to go to other Value Villages to try to find something before the 2 week exchange period runs out. Which is where I find myself now. Iāve been to every Value Village within 30 minutes of me this week, and I still have items I need to exchange. I wish theyād just let you bring it back and put the money on a gift card like Goodwill. I really just need to stop shopping at Value Village. I DEFINITELY wonāt be shopping at this particular...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had just finished picking out jeans and started looking at tops, when i was approached by a vallue village employee. She asked me to leave the store. That was it. When i asked why she gave me no reason. I wasnt shopplifting, or dammaging anything, in fact i have 247$ in my wallet and simply wanted a new outfit. Her reason for asking me to leave was... "we dont need a reason to refuse service, so i want you to leave" im not wearing my backpack, as if that makes judging me ok, or makes her better than me. Im not sure what she thinks of me, and thankfully dont care. I know the beauty i have in me, my self worth is not affected by her judgments of me. I feel sorry for her, as i wonder how often she limits herself by refusing to see peoples inner light shine. To miss out on all that beauty is to high a price. Hate wears heavy on the soul. Hate is ugly, believe me, that darkness cant be disguised. Seems painful and lonly, but thats your cross to bare, so You keep hating, im gonna keep lettin my good light,...
