I bought a new Sea Ray from Scott. I live around 300 miles from the dealership. The whole deal was done over the phone. They even delivered the boat to my front door. The delivery specialist was willing to take the time to dock the boat at our local lake and go through all the features even though he had to drive 5 hours back home. I've been waiting to post a review as I wanted to see how things went with the boat. So far I've had a few issues (being a first time boat owner I'm learning that you will always have a few issues regardless of the boat you buy). MarineMax has handled all of my issues over the phone as well. The biggest reason I feel the need to post this review is the fact that I called 9 other boat dealerships. Start to finish Scott Nowak made this an easy process. Communication was spot on, I never felt pressure to do anything and given the size of the purchase it was really smooth! Scott made it pleasant and really explained every detail of what I was buying. The delivery was on time and they did exactly what they said they would. Post delivery there were a few issues and they jumped on them. I still have an issue with one component but the way they handle it puts me at ease that it’ll be taken care of. Bought an 80 " Jobe Tornado for the kids and it submerged when towed as they were to small to hold up the front. Tried to return it and they said hey could not take it back. They said it was a known problem and I could buy an inflatable ball to keep the nose up. Would have bought something else if they told me that.
