Lots of space with grills picnic tables and drinking fountains sprinkled around. There is a band Shell a ball park a beach some playgrounds tennis courts basketball courts ball diamond and lots of beautiful over looks of Lake Minnetonka and the marina. This place is beautiful and while there are usually people here it never seems too busy.Meticulously well-maintained and in walking distance of downtown Excelsior which is also very beautiful to walk. I highly recommend going! Very friendly for handicap or wheelchairs, too!

Hubby and I enjoyed an Al & Alma's dinner cruise around Lake Minnetonka. Having never actually been on the lake, it was fun to learn about the history and well known people who live in our area. Dinner was good, although the menu was different than I expected. Bar staff was polite and knowledgeable. Met some other couples on their first cruise as well. All in all a fun experience.

Amazing!! My favorite place to hang out with my siblings. We go and get ice cream from Licks Unlimited and then walk there. Such a nice area. Well put together. Some nights you can watch the baseball or softball games across from here. The concert recently was nice. I added some photos. 4th of july was nice too. Overall, convenient place to walk to.

Great park. Beach was on the smaller side so it could be tough for lots of families to spread out. Shallow waters. We had it all to ourselves mostly because it was a weekday. Fun just floating around on intertubes in the water and having a picnic. No swim dock to swim out to and jump off. Paid Parking is close by.

I like this nice public park on the lake Minnetonka. Plenty of space for sport games, picnic’s or family get togethers, or just walking. There is a beach area with the playground. Swings, merry-go-round, beach and waterfront, playground kids, basketball court, picnic benches, 🚾 Parking is 3,5$ per hour.

Usually a busy little town. A nice place to get the beach town feel so close to the water. With little shops, restaurants, and ice cream so close you'll be sure to find something you like. Or if you don't want to spend money, just an evening walk by the water is nice!
