For the love of God, do not support this business. I REPEAT do not; I see the reviews are 50/50 and maybe those that have gone before had a better experience. Yet, this place is disgusting! Food and hair alike share the same spaces, and God forbid if you schedule a time slot with them. They’ll lie to get you in, they don’t wash their hands in between clients, and even if you give them an example of the hairstyle you want they’ll blatantly disregard your request and make your braids so tight my edges are almost nonexistent; I told the hairdresser I had thin hair when it comes to my edges I asked to make the braids bigger. Granted it took two hours after the schedule time frame and eight to actually do my hair. Why? Cause they try doing three people’s hair at once leaving you to sit sometimes for 15min-30mins, even sometimes using the excuse to tell you they only take cash for you to go to the atm across the way and they walk away without further words. I came to them due to the reviews and rating thinking their poor “customer service” was due to lack of conversation. Not just taking your money and wasting your time for an entire day. They’re rude and talk about you in their native tongue, not knowing some people can understand. Literally my braider got rough with my head when I was having a headache from her tight braiding. It was an experience I’ll never pay...
Read moreI came in yesterday 8/3 I showed the owners sister a picture the lady began doing the big twist in the front someone else did the back .. When finished everything was to the back so I did not see the big difference in size.. I called this morning 8/4 as soon as it opened and asked can I come in so it can be fixed. When I arrived the lady who did my front was VERY rude she put her hands on me and told me if she had to take my hair done and redo it I would have to pay another $180. At this point I got highly upset 1 in pregnant you have no reason to put your hands on me and to it was a mistake made I paid so it needed to be fixed. I took my own hair down and had to wait for the lady who did my back to redo my hair. When I asked for the owners number I was told no and that the situation will be handled and my hair would be fixed. I've spent well over 600 coming here getting my hair done. This was by FAR THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I will never spend another dime in this place. They also had other customers who complained on how I was treated. As I sat getting my hair done the lady continued to speak in their language I'm not ignorant so I knew very well they were speaking on me. They will NEVER get another dime for me and I still have yet to be able to speak to the...
Read moreEveryone experience is different so here is my honest review. Moving from New York to Ga 3yrs ago looking for an African braiding shop similar to back home was a challenge. Being recommend by a friend I tried Kaba. Me personally I never experience what some of these other reviews have I mean it’s an African braiding shop so you know what your are coming for. I’m not use to them having to wash my hair, in NY we come with our hair washed so that’s how i always come here. It’s always been an in and out thing for me maybe because i go during the week, now the weekend that’s another story. A lady by the name Georgia is the ONLY person in the shop who I let braid my hair . I tried others in the shop they were good too but Georgia takes her time she has a little conversation if you don’t like something she fixes it before you leave. Her customer service has always been great. I don’t let 2 people in my head at a time you can tell them no just one and they say ok . The price is super affordable and all the ladies in there pretty much say hi when you come and bye when you leave. Call book with Georgia I promise you will not be...
