Vacation Rentals PR — Local services in Fajardo

I would not stay here again. The condo rules are VERY strict and not family friendly!! My 17 and 14 year olds were tossing a small ball in the pool with some young children (about 6-8 years old). No one else was at the pool. They were having so much fun and not being loud or rowdy at all. Security came and told us balls weren't allowed in the pool area and made them stop. It was absurd! We immediately left the pool and went back to our room. Within minutes, our airbnb host texted us because security had contacted her stating we broke the pool rules and if we didn't stop she would be fined!! As I was responding to her, she then received another text from security saying we were now using a flotation device at the pool and that wasn't allowed either and they had us on the security cameras. We weren't even at the pool at this point and never had a flotation device with us at any time. It was a real low point of our trip to be treated this way. Anyone with kids knows that kids ages 6-17 who don't know one another playing together in a pool is a pretty magical moment.

The place and surrounding areas are espectacular. However this Airbnb needs attention. It’s drab and tired. Place is spacious and ACs work well. However there is NO AC in the living room kitchen and dining area. That was a bad experience getting there. The apartment was too hot and it took more than 3 hr to feel some fresh in the place. Walls, bathrooms, rooms are outdated. Door lock doesn’t feel safe as it is about to break down. Coffee mugs are chipped and there only a few utensils to eat. All appliances worked well. Sliding doors to the balcony need your muscles to get them to open. Balcony view is stunning 😍 Pls fix this apartment. Exhaust fans at both bathrooms are breaking down too. You are pushing it when it comes to maintenance of this place Pool and other facilities are great. Safety at the gate is awesome although gate guards need a customer service training or at least learn how to be nice.

The place is very nice however my sister in law signed the doc without us realizing that we could not have guest while we traveled to PR with a group of our family. We couldnt have them over for dinner or anything. We were seperated bc of no guest is allowed. Mymother cooked and just to pick up the food the security guard said no. We did not argue we simply made a u turn and told our relatives to go. The guard left the booth followed us in his golf cart and called the owner stating that we tried to sneak in people. After that incident at least twice after we came in we would leave the booth and drive in his golf cart by passing us felt like we were being watched. Overall i would not stay at Pena Mar again.
