I met Tris through a mutual friend and I had been looking forward to this tour for MONTHS! I was finally able to make it to PR with my mom for Christmas and of course, I immediately booked the tour and let me tell you, it was such an amazing experience!! Tris kindly picked us up from our Airbnb around 8pm, we picked up another group close by, and we were on way to El Yunque! The ride was about an hour or so, but it went by so quick because there’s so much to see on the way there. It was truly a beautiful drive. We met the rest of our group at the location and we were off into the beautiful rainforest! The hike was muddy and slippery so be sure to bring shoes you don’t care about getting wet and muddy. There are hoses at the end of the tour that you can use to rinse your shoes so don’t be too worried about the mud. Let your inner child take over and just have fun! Once we got to the waterfalls, we hiked a little more to make it to the slides, there are two you go down from. The slides were so much fun and definitely a thrilling experience! After that you have the option to do some cliff jumping and/or rope swinging before heading back to the van. You rise off the mud and then you have the option to go to the kiosks in Luquillo for lunch with the group. The kiosks are basically huge row of restaurants and small businesses along a beautiful beach. Tris had a table reserved for us, which made deciding where to eat a lot easier since there are SO MANY options there. I will say, they took a VERY long time to get our food out for our table which I wouldn’t have mind if I wasn’t so hungry from the hike! It probably took around an hour to get our food but we got to enjoy some medallas and a beautiful view of the beach while we waited, so it was hard to be too upset! The food was well worth the wait and everyone left happy with a full stomach! We made the 45min drive back to San Juan which concluded the trip. Overall, I highly recommended Trankitours! Communication with Tris was quick and smooth and the tour itself was truly a blast. Definitely got to bring out my inner child!! Tris did send me a link with all the pictures and videos he took on his gopro so that was a great plus. I’ll say this is one of the most memorable experiences I’ve had in Puerto Rico and it was even better enjoying it with my mom :) Don’t hesitate to book!!

My sister and I take our anual summer Puerto Rico trip and the first thing we do is give Tristan a ring so he can help us plan our trip. My sister was recently diagnosed with MS and since then we have planned to do it all. Well, Tristan has never let us down. Aug 2023 Tristan took us on his Indigenous Roots and City of Life Tour. This tour was so informative and beautiful. He also took us swimming in one of the most beautiful river. Then when we think it can’t get any better…we visited an amazing farm where we ate a wonderful meal and took in our surroundings. Our second tour was The Cueva del Indio. Once again he took us to these amazing sights and Tristan has such an abundance of knowledge. Kept us in awe. With that being said Tristan was also aware of my sisters limitations and he gently pushed her to hike these beautiful areas, but she was always safe in his hands. Can’t say enough of Tranki Tours- Tristan is definitely family and will keep him as our go to guide for all our upcoming trips!

I absolutely loved the tour, we did el yunque and it couldn’t have been more fun. Started off with a relaxing ride to the rainforest we stopped for the bathroom and some food and souvenirs half way through then we got life jackets on and started our walk to water when we got there. The hike was beautiful and but definitely bring your water shoes. We hiked through Rocks and tree roots and did two natural water slides. Then we did some cliff jumping they offer 6ft, 15ft or 20ft. I did the 20 and it was so amazing. There is also a rope swing, areas to take pictures and they gave us some fresh fruit to enjoy while we relaxed by the water. Our tour guide was great and took a bunch of pictures and videos. Would definitely book again.

Our group of seven adults embarked on a journey with Tranki Tours in Puerto Rico. We had high expectations, and Tranki Tours exceeded every one of them. From start to finish, Tranki Tours proved to be the epitome of excellence in providing an immersive, exciting, and culturally enriching experience. The moment I contacted Tranki Tours to inquire about their offerings, I was met with exceptional customer service. The team was not only prompt in their responses but also displayed genuine enthusiasm for helping me craft the perfect itinerary for our vacation. Their attention to detail and willingness to tailor the tour to our preferences truly set the tone for what was to come. The day of the tour was an absolute delight. Our knowledgeable and charismatic tour guide, Tristan, was a true gem, THE BEST! His passion for Puerto Rican history, culture, and nature was contagious, and he skillfully shared his insights at every turn. Whether we were exploring the lush rainforests of El Yunque, or exploring the macro mural by YauCromatic in Yaoco or hiking to gorgeous waterfalls and pools on the Salto de Santa Clara waterfall trial, Tristan kept us engaged with his fascinating anecdotes and deep understanding of the history and local way of life. Tranki Tours' commitment to sustainable and responsible tourism was evident throughout the journey. Their dedication to preserving the environment and supporting local communities was heartwarming to witness. From encouraging us to minimize our ecological footprint to promoting authentic interactions with local artisans, Tranki Tours truly exemplifies what it means to be an eco-conscious tour operator. What truly stood out during my experience was the seamless organization of each aspect of the tour. From tours to transportation and meals, every detail was meticulously planned, allowing me to fully immerse myself in the experience without any worries. This level of professionalism and dedication to customer satisfaction is a rare find and speaks volumes about Tranki Tours' commitment to excellence. In conclusion, my experience with Tranki Tours in Puerto Rico was nothing short of exceptional. From the moment I booked our tour to the final farewell, every interaction, adventure, and discovery was infused with a sense of wonder and enthusiasm. If you're looking for a tour company that goes above and beyond to curate a memorable, educational, and environmentally conscious journey, look no further than Tranki Tours. My only regret is not having more time to spend with them. I can't wait to return and explore even more of Puerto Rico's beauty with this outstanding team. Thank you, Tranki Tours and Tristan, for an unforgettable adventure...
