The supervisor (at least i think she was) was very unprofessional and knows very little about customer service. With over 10 people in line and one cashier. She and 3 others were laughing in the office and after waiting several minutes, I stepped up to the counter and asked if a new register could be open as there are a lot of customers waiting. I was told "there is no need to be rude" "we have rules about what assigned employees are to report to the cash registers when needed. . . it's policy" they were having a "shift change". . .I'm sorry, what if the assigned employee was in restroom with diarrhea are we just supposed to wait 20 mins in line because it's "policy".As a customer, I don't know nor do i care about your "policy" of "assigned employees".
