I received fresh spots today. Unfortunately they weren't cleaned the best and a few of them were pretty butchered. Also they weren't split all the way thru even tho I asked for split. The cleaner either needs better skills or to be supplied with better tools.

I also purchased 1/2 dozen steamed blue crabs. 1 had mushy meat. It may not seem like a big deal, but mushy meat in a crab usually indicates it was dead when it was cooked. This can lead to shellfish poisoning. Luckily, I know this so I didn't eat it. It's something that's easily preventable by checking crabs before you cook them. Shellfish poisoning can put you on your behind for a couple of days or in the hospital.

The sad part is, I hadn't gotten enough spots for a family get together I was planning this weekend and was going to go back Thurs/Fri. But changed my mind after seeing the fish when I went to put them in freezer bags. I was giving this place a chance based on reviews. They could work on their customer service a little bit more. When running a food business you should always have someone at the counter taking orders everyone was in the back cooking and it looks bad as a business regardless of who ordered first and who is waiting have someone take the orders while the others cook, they were rushing to get the ppl that were waiting inside orders out the way when a line started to form at the door because their order haven’t been taken yet very all over the place because being 60 years of age and standing waiting 30 minutes just to have someone take your order is crazy and still have to wait for the food to get done and that’s why the proper amount of staff is very important to have in the food industry nevertheless the food I received wasn’t good it was rushed and undercooked that’s probably because they were swamped with a lot of people waiting, Understandable but you want to meet your customer’s expectations because they are who’s keeping the business flowing.
