My wife went this with her dad and ordered 2 coffees and 2 toasts with butter. She paid for her order received her coffees and waited for some time, approached the young female that charged her for the order, the girl put gloves on and immediately a new customers walked in and the girl took her gloves off and took care of the customers and never checked on the order. My wife approached another employee on break and asked him to speak with the owners and he told her that he didn't know where they were. At that time my wife called and asked me if I knew someone that I can talk to and I told her that I only know the owners. The order was paid for at 10:25 she called at 11:22 and still no toasts. She ended up leaving with her 83 year old dad and eating somewhere else.I told her to get a refund and write a review, but she is so upset I took it upon myself and wrote this review. To make matters worse, this is not the first time it has happened to us or people I have recommended. When it happened to me, the owners apologized and told me that they will do their best to prevent this from happening again, but apparently based on other reviews the issue still has not been resolved. We will not visit this location or recommended anyone else until customers reviews show improvement. We like to support our own but if the employees don't care about customer service and their customers, we don't want to embarrass ourselves sending new customers and have them get treated with the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent with family and partner for the first time, looking for some homemade goods and meals from Puerto Rico. Walking in already sets the ambience, taking you straight there! The smell of fresh bread hits you soon as you walk into the door and it is a very well kept building with beautiful painted walls and designs. The employees and servers were all super amazing, hardworking, and had a contagious energy š«¶š½ . They were ready to serve and answer any questions we had.
Although food (mofongo typically, sandwiches were quickly served) took a while to come out, the service and quality of the food made up for the delay. Bathrooms are super clean and so was service area. Most of all, food and drinks were 10/10!! Difficult to find something like this around where Iām from so Iām definitely going to come back to get my fresh pan sobao and mofongo with salsa criolla! Glad I was able to experience my culture some away from homeš«¶š½

Ā Ā Ā Read moreAfter some time, and a few visits, things have changed. The quality in the first three visits was great. Very fresh and delicious. Then I had a taste of a special lunch, chino, and it was bland. And it was 10 dollars for each of those plates. On my following visits, their regular menus slowly declined in quality. We either got almost no meat, or extremely Tough meat as if it was frozen. On my last visit the cooks forgot to put in the meat on my service, which was by phone. They still politely remade the sandwiches and offered a desert. But they took over 45 minutes to remake them. Even their deserts have gone down, with extremely saggy bland sweats. After getting the sandwiches it wasn't worth the wait. Bland and flavorless. It's a shame because I gave this place a good review, but the quality has definitely gone down. With little mistakes, flavorless food and way to long wait times. You should have stock to fresh meats...
