If I could give this place a 0 I would. This place is absolutely disgusting & disgraceful. Serving Pork to a muslim without hesitation when the man himself asked for chicken & double checked before eating is absolutely unacceptable. The fact that when he went & asked them if it was chicken after taking a bite due it to tasting off & them hesitantly saying Yes instead of alerting the man & owning up to the mistake they would rather lie. Once the worker admitted it was pork she stated she made a “mistake”. But wasn’t even remorseful about the fact she caused a man to break everything he believes in & why it’s such a huge thing. Please get educated. The man will be emotionally distressed now everytime he eats. & the fact they just lied prior & made an excuse about mixing up the bags as if that’s acceptable from a business? seems like someone needs to teach them how to run a business correctly. It’s astonishing due to the fact that it’s rated as the best taco joint in fayetteville. Think about if your child had a food allergy & you asked for it to be removed & it wasn’t? how would you feel needing to rush your kid to the hospital because of a “mistake” that wasn’t supposed to happen in the first place. Business owner himself showed no grace after being alerted about the situation it’s like it meant nothing to him. Be careful eating here who knows what’s next, maybe...
Read moreQuesadilla de chorizo was too greasy, left a pool of soup. The agua fresca de piña has too much pulp, no lo colaron bien. If I could, I wouldn’t put any stars. I was accompanied my Muslim friends who were excited to try Mexican food. Their religion prohibits them from eating any type of pork so they asked for chicken tamales. Upon inspecting the tamales they realized that the meat did not look like chicken so they went to the ladies that services them to confirm before eating the meat, to which they said it was chicken. A friend realized that it was in fact not chicken after they look a bite and we went back for confirmation if it was not chicken to which they said no, it’s pork. Completely and utterly unacceptable. As a food business you are held to a certain standard to take into consideration people’s food requests. As a food business you should know what you are serving and make sure it is correct compared to the order. Label your stuff and have some respect as well as accountability. I don’t care if your feelings are hurt when you just violated domes religious practices. There is no room for your feelings when you made that type of...
Read moreListen, I would rate a 0 if I could. The audacity of these people to lie to my face after being asked a serious question. I am a Muslim, we do not eat pork. Out with a few friends, I thought I’d try a chicken tamale since they come pre made not mixed on their grill with the pork foods. After having a bite we noticed it was not chicken. When the attendant was asked what it was she lied to my face twice about it being chicken. Then the boss, their father, was all smiley and giddy as I tell him how they’ve violated a practice of my religion. It’s a small business, people make mistakes, but at-least have the guts to admit to it. This isn’t something that can be corrected with a refund, please consider if it’s worth the visit now that you know how...
