The cashiers are the only positive thing this food lion has going for it. Ive been a foodlion customer for 20 years and have shopped at 4 different locations in that time and this is by far the worst foodlion I've ever shopped at. Some of their shortcomings include: Meat that should be pink or red is brown and has a manager special label stuck on it and tossed back on the shelf. Brown meat obviously needs to not be on the shelf. They are commonly sold out of LOTS of items on a regular basis. And don't find something you like and start buying it, because more than likely this place will quit carrying it. Ive had it happen 3 times in this year alone. I've checked other food lions in the area, and every other food lion carries the items, just not this one anymore. Items are commonly stocked in the wrong place and the item that belongs in that spot just never gets ordered again. As far informing the management of any issues.. Good luck... All I can say is what management? I've been shopping at this location for almost 2 years now. The manager has never spoken to me, not even to say "hello welcome to foodlion" when I pass him on an aisle. The assistant manager's too busy flirting with female customers on the aisles to pay much attention to any other customers. And the grocery manager, he thinks hes slick muttering things in Spanish under his breath about inappropriate things .. Too bad he didn't know that my white fiance speaks Spanish and understood him say something about her butt when she walked by him. I guess the company thinks this foodlion is in good shape based on sales, but I'm sure that's misleading considering the nearest competition is a walmart that's 10 miles in the other direction. If this place had any competition for customers I'm sure someone would step in and make changes at this place, but I don't see that happening any time soon. Save your time and frustration and take the time to drive to the Skibo location... They are always stocked, and the manager there has spoke to me twice even though ive only shopped there 4 times...
Read moreFOODLION IS WAY BETTER THAN WALMART (GROCERY-WISE)! Yep, I said it. And you know if you read it off the internet it's a fact, lol. J/K but honestly, Foodlion has sales and deals all the time and alot of there products are regularly priced lower than Walmart. It doesn't take me nearly as long to shop at Foodlion and I don't walk out spending an additional $50 (or more) on things i didn't intend to buy. Walmart was good when it had its roll backs but times have changed. If you dont shop at foodlion make the switch now. Plus, their meats are better quality. While, I wouldn't dare buy their milk because it almost always taste like its borderline rotten and rarely makes it to the sell by date, I will blame that on the temperature to which they keep their trucks refrigerated and the professionalism of the driver and handlers to ensure the temperature is accurate before unloading. I have to comment on the entire store brand not just the location as Google request I make a review without telling me the location but I will say that some Foodlions are better than others, they are set up differently and some have a better wine selection amongst...
Read moreEverything is always so easy to find they have great sales and their customer service is awesome. One time I bought this toilet paper because it was a super good deal and when I got to my car I noticed that it actually rang up $10 instead of $5. So I walked into the store and let the clerk know that the only reason I purchased it was because the price on the Shelf said $5 and she said that whoever stock the shelves made a huge mistake because that was actually one of their prices and most popular toilet papers they sell and so the price actually was $10. Most stores would tell you you're just SOL but they actually reimburse me and gave it to me for the $5 listed on the Shelf. Any other store would have said sorry about their mistake but there's no way they would have refunded me back. The store actually ate the difference and took the loss without any problem at all. That's the true definition of the customer is...
