Food Lion — Local services in Fayetteville

I went inside to get some groceries. As I walked up to the cash register I noticed several of the cashiers standing out in the aisle waiting for someone to come along to check out. As I walked up to one gentlemen's cash register he walked back seeming as if he was ready for me to check out with him. As I normally do, I asked him how he was doing. He did not respond. Then again I said hope you're doing all right, again he did not respond. He did not look me in the eye the entire checkout process, and seemed as if he was angry at me or something. Then as I was leaving I said have a great day. Again he did not respond. Seeming as if he didn't hear me I made sure as I was walking out of the checkout line to say loudly have a great day. Once again no response. He not say a word during the entire check out process. The cashiers name was Tyreek. Although he checked me out just like everyone there has, he did not seem friendly nor did he seem to care that I was speaking to him. I wish I could say this was the first example of bad service I've had here....

I shopped at the Andrews Rd. Food Lion for many years. The store was usually well managed, fully stocked and clean. After Covid-19 I noticed that customers commonly did not abide by the governor's executive order requiring masks to be worn in public. For this reason I stopped going to Food Lion. Tonight I decided to give them another chance and stopped to pick us a few items. Big mistake!!! I counted 10 customers in the store. Four were not wearing a mask. Management said nothing to them. Even worse, all but one of the staff either had their mask pulled down around their neck or had their noses exposed. The virus is transmitted by droplets or aerosols emitted through the mouth and nose. Stay away from Food Lion on Andrews Rd.!!!!! I intend to shop at Harris Teeter and purchase certain items through Amazon. Much more expensive, but I would rather pay more and...

Andrew's is always been nice Neat and clean I go up there really early to do cash back my only complaint is them not having money in your drawers understand the beginning of the day but if you offer a service you should be prepared To give that service. I'm here they have no problem taking my money that early in the morning no matter what I spend quite a bit of money there and I like using the cash back function I specially go out of my way to go to Food Lion because it doesn't cost me anything But at the same time I go in there to do cashback and in spending 40 or 50 bucks sometimes I just think that they should be prepared for people to come in and do cashback if you offer it But is not gonna disturb me once or twice a little hiccup they did correct that in just took a little longer than...
