Registration for swimming lessons is an absolute nightmare. They do not allow registration online. You have to register by phone, and they do not have a phone queue system. So you are essentially just calling them over and over until someone answers when they first open registration since classes at preferred times (for most working parents) fill up in no time. And then if classes are full and you'd like to put your child on a waiting list you are only allowed to be on one waiting list at a time, per session. It's a complete impractical way of managing a registration system. Please get with the time and allow for online registration, or implement a phone queue or call-back system. Always enjoy coming to the Washington open swim meet in January. The staff is classic they're super friendly. The facility is just really nice for hosting a meet tons of space for everybody to spread out great seating to watch the races. They seem to do a very good job at updating their equipment my Summers really enjoyed the starting blocks with LED lights and the high back for their feet. During meets they keep the pool deck super clean and seem to work really really well with meet coordinators. I think that they have a very professional lifeguard staff I noticed that they were doing full rotations during swim meet sessions. The locker rooms and bathrooms are usually very tidy they managed to keep people in the right places because the building is so well built...

This pool is one of the best in the country, I have swam competitively at dozens of pools and this is my all time favorite. It has amazing lane lines, wave eliminating walls, great starting blocks, and clean water. I found nothing to dislike about it, it was clean, well kept, and very accommodating. There was plenty of space. I have rarely had such an experience with a pool, but I will definitely be returning to the King County Aquatic Center. There is also many restaurants in close proximity to the pool, the locker rooms were spacious, and the deck seating adequate.
