I am so grateful to have Aaron Heaslet as my primary! He takes the time to really listen to me. I never feel like I’m “just another appointment “ to him. He really cares about his patients and I think nowadays that is becoming more and more rare! A few years ago Aaron read my blood panel report before leaving for the day and spotted a dangerously low hemoglobin. He quickly called me and said I had to get to the hospital NOW and get a blood transfusion, and have them run tests to find out why. He actually saved my life! I was hospitalized for a week - they found out the reason why - I was suffering from heavy metal poisoning! It caused a lot of damage to my body and damage to my central nervous system, leaving me with Neurological damage. He helped me through a lengthy healing process, and I am so grateful Aaron and all the wonderful staff there at Scenic Rivers were there for me through it all.
