For context, I am a brick and mortar store owner who specializes in sales, repairs and upgrades of Apple products. I spoke with their sales guy Eddie who was like a quick talking car salesman the first time we ever had a conversation. He was enthusiastic and gave a brief breakdown of who PCS Wireless is as a company and what they do and what they could offer me. Upon reading the reviews here on Google I had many reasonable questions on how the operations were improved as there are many negative reports of orders being incorrect. I never got a response to those questions. Additionally their "wholesale pricing" was mostly equivalent to the retail cost of my items. I've been solicited multiple times after this encounter by Eddie and he is calling as if it's the first time he's ever spoke to me. Read moreLots of negative reviews so I was very anxious about the trade in value I'd get after purchasing a Pixel 7 Pro. Additionally I sent the phone late according to PCS' own terms but within the timescale Google had advised in an email so was concerned how that would pan out as the estimates had gone down since.
I've just been issued a credit of £205 which is higher than the estimate I'd initially had (I'd said the phone had a cracked screen just in case, the phone itself was mint) so they've actually accurately assessed it and revised up. All in all very happy.
Doesn't excuse the other negative reviews or discredit those but definitely feels like a case of more bad experiences being shared and those who receive accurate valuations won't bother posting about them.
