Walked in the door first time in this barbershop and was immediately told the 6 th chair where the worst barbers usually are. Was seated and a lady started to cut my hair. I initially asked her does she have experience cutting Afro American hair and those of us with locks. She said yes. Started cutting and didn’t even finish before passing me off to a barber next to her! Talk about weird vibes. The guy she passed me too was worse at cutting hair than she was! I have never been to a barber in my life where you get passed from one barber to the next. Usually a barber will finish their work. Her excuse was she had an appointment! wtf! Who does that in the middle of cutting hair??!! This was a red flag but I assumed maybe I was getting the better barber for my type of hair. Boy was I wrong!! This was the most inadequate and blatant lack of disregard ever! No pride ! I had to coach the guy how to line my mustache up properly! Making me think they have no regard to us or don’t respect us period! Worst fade ever! Almost cut one of my locks off. Asked me if I wanted a bowl!! Wtf! I said no. Who tf is getting a bowl? Are u dumb?! Then he quickly corrected and said blend. I said of course. I want a fade what is so hard to comprehend?! Anyway after various mishaps i clearly understood that either the barber skills was lacking or he took no pride in his work! I have never experienced that amount of overall lack of basic skills before in all my life! Straight disrespect upon thinking about it. The haircut was so bad that I gave up correcting the barber as I felt it would get worse as inadequate he was. He knew he was trash and charged me only 25 when the cuts start at 30. Complete trash service and obviously they don’t want repeat customers. First time there and will be the last! I will never come to a barber shop and allow the owner to tell me which barber to got to as usually they refer you to the worst ones in the shop if they don’t know you. Usually I don’t do that but this was an emergency haircut as I had a wedding to go to the same night . Even the owner knew he screwed me and had a slight smirk when I left. Worst barber shop I have ever been to!! Not much English and overall strange ! Will be back to demand a refund. Or someone who can properly fade and fix the mistakes of this barber who clearly shouldn’t be cutting hair! Even my wife who knows nothing about hair really immediately recognized that this was a trash haircut! And I didn’t see all the spots until she pointed them out! Don’t recommend ! Again the worst fade I have ever had! Poor line up skills! Not even blended properly! And this guy was training someone else!! He knew this was not done well or even cut with any sense of pride! Hence he lowered the price and I almost didn’t pay him anything!! I did only because I abide by the laws of the land . But upon further review I wish I’d didn’t pay anything because that how horrible the...
Read moreWe made the very difficult decision to cut my son’s long curly hair 😞. This was my son’s 1st barbershop experience, as previously, my husband would cut his hair at home, when we kept it short. We needed a professional this time..I was hesitant to take my son to a barbershop because majority our experiences in barbershops have been distasteful as the shops are playing vulgar and inappropriate music, or otherwise the barbers are using profane language. We decided to take a chance and take our son to Eduardo’s Barber Shop. @Eduardo, THANK YOU so much for being so professional and considerate ❤️. We were so pleased that Eduardo was playing Christian and clean music. Such a relief! The staff were also very warm and welcoming.
Alexander was our barber and he NAILED the “curly quiff” (leaving natural hair lining per my request) look we were going for. EXCELLENT JOB 👏 , even with having to cut/shape SO much curly hair! We were so pleased that my husband returned just a few days later to get his haircut! I’ve attached some photos to this review. Absolutely recommend Eduardo’s Barber Shop in Foley, AL! Hands-down our best and most delightful barbershop experience. Thank you Alexander, Eduardo, and...
Read moreI have taken my seven year old and sixteen year old here a couple of times. Two haircuts ago I took my oldest son for a fade and lineup. He came back with a rash on the back of his neck. A very painful one at that. I contacted the barber shop, and I was told he was just sensitive to the clippers and was told what to get to treat it. We have been treating it, and it had not went away and has discolored the back of his neck area. In sixteen years my son has never gotten any rashes from barber shops. I decided to give the shop another chance, and had thought maybe it was just a random break out. This past week I took him for a trim the rash was irritated once again, and this time there were small patches or gashes around his head and his front line were missing. My son made the statement the barber who done his hair was rushed and didnt take his time. Its unfortunate that my concern seemed to have been brushed off and in addition to that this time his hair came out even worse than before. I personally would...
