Main's Market — Local services in Folsom

Pros: Convenient location - It's only a short drive from my house right in Folsom. Cons: Produce quality - I've often noticed rotten produce or gnats/flies on it. Pricey limited selection - Many items are more expensive here than at other grocery stores. It adds up quickly! For instance, lactaid milk I bought today $7.45 but at another store, I shop at it's $6.29. Overall: This store is in a great spot. It's convenient, and I'm grateful to have it nearby, especially for quick trips when I don't want to travel far for a few items. I go here or at the dollar store for quick needed items. However, the higher prices and occasional produce issues can be drawbacks. I couldn't if I wanted to, buy a whole basket of food here because I wouldn't be able...

Went to buy some sale items. They didn't have some of the items in stock, but they said new stock will come in the next day. I went back 2 days later (today) and still NO products! SO NOW They said it should come in Tuesday. Yet the sale ends Tuesday so if I can't get there Tuesday I will miss out on these sale items.Also no rain checks...Even if I did get there Tuesday, I'm not really saving any money having to drive there 3 times to get the items. Look, I usually like these small town grocery stores, but this one is ridiculous. First of all, the prices are way too high for what I’m getting. When I go to Covington or Mandeville, I can buy the same stuff for considerably cheaper. Secondly, the managing staff is incredibly rude. I asked one of the workers to grab the manager for me so I could ask him some questions, and the guy who came out treated me poorly. At the end of the day, this kind of managing staff has no business being in charge, and I can only imagine how he treats...
