Kristmas Kringle Shoppe — Local services in Fond du Lac

I was expecting there to be Kringle at a place called the Kristmas Kringle Shoppe, but alas there was none to be found. They should lean into the name a bit and at least reserve a corner to sell some Kringle for those who were looking.

That being said, as a Christmas store - this place was very magical and I was impressed by all the decor and options and the atmosphere. It felt like stepping back into a Christmas village and reminded me of all the years spent with family and friends over the holidays and the memories we had made. They also had some unique fall/Halloween items on display which was fun to see.

The prices were pretty steep and I think this is more for people who enjoy holidays and decorating as a hobby and take them very seriously and want things to be extra special. You won't find a cheap Walmart pack of 20 plastic ornaments for $15 here. Many of the items are handmade and can cost more than double that price for one item.

This was my first time going and I can honestly say I can't wait to go back. So much bigger than it looks on the outside. Every kind of ornament you could imagine along with all other kinds of Christmas decor and gifts. They also have a fall/Halloween section. Staff is very friendly and helpful. I was there with my mom and she went to use the restroom so I quickly added an ornament that she absolutely loved and the woman who was checking me out was nice enough to go and get a box and wrap it up so she wouldn't see it. Very disappointed in the customer service. I was gifted a very expensive battery operated candle that worked for one week. I brought it in to return or exchange and I was told no. I asked if it could be repaired and the answer was “ the manufacturer wouldn’t take it back.” She didn’t even look into it. I left the $75 gift there as it’s junk and doesn’t work. Solving problems or coming up with a solution for customers is how you keep them happy. I have two full Christmas village sets mostly from your store and have spent thousands over the years. Very disappointing and I will be going elsewhere...
