Cloud of Goods Atlanta was a name that popped up on my google search for a “collapsible mobility scooter for rent”. It felt strange at first to fill out all of my info for a same day rental because I wasn’t able to speak to anyone to answer questions, as it was a Sunday. But! I had to trust the process because there weren’t really any other choices. So, I filled in all of my info, including payment info and I received an email correspondence right away saying they received my request. Less than a half hour later, I was directly contacted by phone by my delivery person, JOSE, to coordinate the delivery to the Ponce Market in Atlanta. We coordinated to meet in front of a store as I am from out of town and had no idea where to have him leave it. He actually waited for us to arrive and assembled, step by step and gave me all of the instructions to assemble and disassemble the scooter as well as charging instructions. We then coordinated pickup of the scooter before we parted ways. We were in contact by text up until pick-up! I researched scooter and wheelchair rentals and after reading some of other rental place reviews & their services, I decided to go with Cloud of Goods, Atlanta. What swayed me to choose this company was the fact that they delivered and picked up their equipment. This was very important as I was visiting and had no transportation to pickup and return. The website made it very easy to set a drop location, to my hotel, and the pickup to be the same location. In addition, I felt really comfortable making the rental purchase on line. Jose provided excellent customer service and was very understanding of my leaving a few attachments in a Uber. Once the items were located and returned to the hotel, Jose went out of his way to go back & pick up the missing items. I attended a music festival which would have required me to walk long distances and stand for long periods.
