El Arroyito — Restaurant in Forest Park

First time and last time coming here. I called in my order and took it to go. The woman who answered the phone was rude. She didn’t even say hello. I ordered she did not mention the price but I guess that was my fault too because I should’ve known to ask when she didn’t say and they didn’t have the prices posted on the menu. She quoted a time of 30 minutes which seemed extreme to me for just one chicken burrito apparently it didn’t take 30 minutes because I got there after 20 minutes and my food was done and already a bit cold. The burrito was just ok everything except the rice meat cheese and beans came on the side. When I say everything it’s just a bunch of lettuce, a couple of tomatoes, a couple of cucumbers, and a couple of radishes. I was not impressed to say the least. They gave me a green sauce and a red but my burrito did not come with sour cream as advertised neither of the sauces were really good to me just your basic green and red sauce. So my main issue is that’s my total was $16.91. Even with inflation I feel like that’s ridiculous for just a regular sized burrito and a few cheap vegetables. Overall I’m really disappointed because this place has four stars and Im not sure why. I finally decided to check this place out. I went in and the tables were in need of cleaning since a bunch of customers finished so I decided to get take out. It took about 5 minutes of waiting before I could get a menu. I figured out my order and placed it. The lady at the counter said the menu I had was the wrong one and the prices went up. I said ok since prices were going up locally and I figured that they were trying to save a few bucks by not ordering new menus. Shortly after, a couple came into the restaurant and sat down. Since the lady at the counter was busy, I politely offered the menu I had. That same lady saw that I gave them my menu and she quickly snatched it away from them and gave them the menu I originally was looking at. She said something in spanished and walked away. Im not sure what happened but I was getting charge the extra amoumt. I did not want to make a scene for paying higher prices. I hope the food is worth it. The food quality was average and prices are subject to the lady at the counter. Parkimg is limited and there are tons of pot holes in the parking lot. I do not plan to return. I should of known that this place would of been bad from the start, we walk in and the place is completely empty, they sit us down and the server had a nasty attitude as if she did not want to be there, she did not bother to introduce herself, she brought the drinks and asked us if we were ready to order but nothing on the menu seemed to interest me, she came back with a domineer as if she were telling us are you finally ready, we ordered and I noticed a deck to the left of us and I got an idea that it was some sort of mini office, some time later a man came and sat to do peoples taxes?! Explain to me why there was more people doing their taxes than eating in the restaurant, the food came out and my girlfriend tasted it and said the food was not cooked at all, we attempted to pay before the food came out because my girlfriend had noticed a cockroach on the window behind me.
