What I don't understand is that when a driver with a full size trailer and a full size truck and sleeper are set to arrive to deliver how come there is so much foot traffic that blocks me from doing my job and nobody seems to care and it takes an over an hour and a half to get into a door? A nice gentleman tried to help me back up since there really isn't enough room in front of my door since there was a tree and I was having some difficulties with the foot traffic but he kept putting me in the same spot over and over and over again so I wound up spending so much time there besides getting unloaded and waiting for my paperwork that I wound up burning up almost my entire clock and I wasn't able to get to my next destination in Auburndale! So I just don't understand how come it's so chaotic and ridiculous there's no management and there's no structure to get a driver in and out and then I had to pull out and make room for one of the house trucks as I was told and go back and start all over again! Read moreOne of Halperns driver, Roosevelt Logan has hit me in the back of my Toyota Tacoma on March 3rd. Roosevelt has recognized to be at fault in front of the police officer while getting the police report. For 20 days, we are driving our Tacoma with messages reporting our ABS system to be down. Gallager Bassett, their third party settlement company has not accepted our Germain Toyota (place where we got our Tacoma 3 years lease) estimate for repair. I have attached pictures. Today I have just spoken with Nicolas Carter Halpers risk management. He told me they have hundreds of cases like this and to be patient. It could take months. Read moreHonest evaluation here! The folks are nice. SOME are even understanding of the plight faced by any OTR (with 53' trailer) truck driver. Companies, please do NOT send your rookies here. This place is not for the "faint of heart" truck driver. It is EXTREMELY tight and difficult to maneuver in this area due to the multitude of obstacles. The dock area is NOT built for acceptance of 53' trailers attached to OTR SLEEPER trucks. It is built for shorter, smaller equipment. Parking, of any sort, is nonexistent. Upon arrival, was immediately directed to a dock door. Was unloaded (1 pallet) faster than the time it took to position onto the dock. Even an experienced driver would AVOID any future deliveries to this facility...
