Google wants me to review a little shopping center. It's the closest one to our neighborhood, it's got the Harris Teeter , so I'm there all the time. I'm thinking... How do you review a shopping center? And who really cares?
It's got the Harris Teeter I mentioned (with a fuel center), and a nice selection of other businesses, a few good restaurants. It's not very big, so it doesn't have everything. The parking lot is big enough that it never overflows.
Access is good if you know the secrets (which road and which turn to make from which direction). There's a new development going in right next door that is going to increase traffic some. But it looks like some new traffic lights are going up, too.
There's another big restaurant across the street, and a CVS kitty corner. There are two - count 'em, two - brand new car washes in the neighborhood.
That new development won't be all houses. There'll be some businesses that will add to the diversity of the shopping center.
We've lived here just under 3 years. The population of the area has been booming over the past 5 or 10 years. I think the shopping center and the other development around the intersection of US 12 Business and highway 460 is playing catch-up.
Five stars means I can't think of anything they've done wrong, and I can't think of a great way to improve it. But people love to complain, so I bet...
Read moreThis review is only concerning the pharmacy. I've visited this location food and gas shopping and had a wonderful experience. However today, Grace the pharmacy technician, made me second guess my prior decision about this location being our regular all in one shop. Grace seemed agitated in every step of our transaction. She seemed upset that I had never filled a RX at Harris teeter before. I was inquiring about my Vic membership and she again because noticably agitated. Then Grace, instead of using my name that was CLEARLY on my paper Rx startled me from behind to get my attention. I don't feel comfortable using the Harris teeter pharmacy with a pharmacy technician such as Grace at the counter. When Grace refused to assist or get another employee to assist me, I had to walk with a pinch nerve in my spine to find Josh by myself. Grace didn't have Josh help me , instead she walked away rudely. Josh completed my transaction and answered all my membership inquiries. Sadly I will have to find another pharmacy to care for my family's needs. Medical care isn't an area I'm willing to compromise. I can't trust an attitude like Grace's filling and assisting my...
Read moreThis location was very busy today. The staff is very friendly though, but the checkout lines are a bit narrow for customers and customers carts to fit through at the same time. When I'm standing at the checkout and the register behind me is done with their customer, they usually bring their customers cart passed me and to their customer. I'm not a big person and for me to have to just short of hug the register I'm at so the one behind me can push the cart passed me is a bit much. I would change this...
