A few days ago I went with my family to purchase a refrigerator. I was addressed by a young lady that goes by the name of Johanna Gil Lopez. To make a long story short, she made the visit very unpleasant. She was slappy, rude and very unprofessional. We came to this store because I have purchased several things in the past and was hoping to get something on credit since I closed my credit card years ago and I want to build some credit again. Anyway, I have a line of $5000 in credit to use at this store. It is not a lot but enough to help my situation and I was ready to at least purchase a fridge but this young lady made things very hard for us.
She didn’t know what she was talking about and when the gentleman that works with her tried to teach her she got more upset. I think she needs to go to get some people skills classes or at least a seminar to work with the public. It is very sad that this happened because for years everyone that asks me where to go for furniture I send them here.
The items they sell here are amazing. They are really good quality. My first purchase with them was back in 2010. We purchase a leather sofa that we still have and it is still in great condition. It is not broken or ripped, only a bit discolored. We paid $900 spread in 6 months. Later on, we purchase a washer and dryer that we still have and a home theater that still works too. I attached a photo of the 10 years old sofa. You can see the great shape it still in.
My husband doesn’t like to do this kind of business. He likes to pay cash but I wanted him to have his own line of credit. After all it helps to build credit but the young lady dismissed him like he has no value at all. Since my daughter is working now we wanted to teach her about these things. So she can purchase her own things in her own style. By the way, they have beautiful bedroom sets. I attached some photos of the set she liked.
I would definitely recommend this store but do yourself a favor and speak with Mr. Lexis Menard. He was a total gentleman. He treated us with respect and was very professional. He gave us the numbers I needed to understand the business we are agreeing to without getting angry like the young lady. He even went out of his way and gave me 3 different options for me to pay the items if I want them at credit. And believe me I am a hard headed when it comes to math and he was super patient with me. Read moreThe sales person was very uninterested in selling anything that day. I had $3000 to spend and wanted to by an adjustable bed and bedroom set, she basically gave no information about the adjustable beds, therefore I bought the one I thought I needed and a recliner my caregiver happened to find on the floor after the sales person told me they had no electronic recliners. When the bed was delivered I was not home my caregiver was here, when I got home, I was immediately shocked. The bed was extremely high, I could not even sit on it, in order to get on it I have to crawl up on it. When I do get up on it the adjustable feet do nothing but go straight up high do not bend only make the bed higher then it already is. I took pictures of the bed and went back into the store to show the sales person the bed I got is not the same as the one on display. She kept insisting it was the numbers on the bed matched the numbers on order. I had to request the delivery manager come to my home and see the bed I have to prove it is not the same. They came and saw, that I do not have the right mattress, I have a special order mattress that is serveral inches bigger then the one I ordered. While I was in the store I decided that this mattress is terribly uncomfortable and doesn’t bend when the feet are up, which is what I need. So I paid an additional $900 and upgraded to a memory foam better mattress they will be swapping them out in 2 days. I am disabled and have 2 broken legs I’m recovering from and having to climb up the bed in the pain I am is just horrible. I just can’t believe the sales person won’t believe that the bed in my home was not the same as the display and it took a manager coming out to look at it to confirm their mistake. I ordered Furniture a few weeks ago I waited a little longer than I wanted for delivery because the schedule was packed but they squeezed me in because I needed my furniture for the holidays. When it came one of my pieces wouldn't fit the delivery drivers did everything that they could to make it fit but after trying and trying they finally gave up. I went into the store to place an order for something else, I was told it wouldn't be able to happen until after the holidays. The next day I followed up with the store manager Tanya who was phenomenal she went over and beyond to make things happen for me, she personally sent one of her staff to my home to take measurements to see what could be done. Tom was absolutely the best he took measurements went back to the store and we decided that we were going to try again. They squeeze me in on a Saturday and yet again the piece wouldn't fit so for the second time they had to take furniture back to the store. Tom and Randy felt so bad for me they left one of my pieces went back to the store and I was given the floor model so that I would have my furniture for the holidays. This is one of the most extraordinary cases of going over and Beyond to provide exceptional customer service that I have seen in a very long time you don't find customer service at this level anymore.
