The store is very cool, but what I dislike the most is being lied to. The store manager told me one thing on the phone, then changed what he said. He wasn't around he had the coworker tell me what was said. I called with in reguards to trading in some old Magic the Gathering cards I no longer wanted. I had a bulk surplus of 4000 ct box of uncommon and common cards. He told my wife the day before he would buy rares at bulk price for 10 cents a rare. I spent entire evening and morning sorting and getting this ready. The next day when I arrived at the Fort Smith Central mall location. I carried 5 folders and the 4000 ct box in on 08-21-2023 to Vintage Stock. He was called from the back, I was one of 3 customers in the store and said he couldn't do all this but if I wanted I could leave it. I told him I would pick some individual rares and only sell the 4000 ct box because I felt like I unloaded a burden on him, which they are in the service of doing this excate thing to make business. He said come back in 20 minutes. Prior to the trip up there I was told on the phone that he would not do 10 cents a bulk rare card and that he would do 100 cards for 1$. I was shocked, but all the hard work I put in was weighing on me, so I agreed to do that. Now back to the next day, today... I brought my collection, and he told me a penny a card, rare, common, and uncommon. I kept my cards and just decided to sell the 4000ct box and 14 rares on average 3-6$ a card. I didnt want to burden them which they were not busy. I came back, Very nice lady named Ashley was there, kind and helpful. And he had offered HALF a US cent for the 4000ct cards, and less than .50 cents for the 14 rares I gave him. He lied to me, to my face. And left the news to tell me with Ashley. I live across town and was not able to walk it back out to my vehicle so I caved and took the deal. I was lied to, given misinformation that was also last second knowledge. If you want to go get ripped off for your collectables go here definitely. TCG players avoid this store seek out your local LGS. I'm very disappointed in the business and misled information from my experience today. I hope others share...
Read moreUnfortunately would not honor the stickered prices on items. Price of the item literally doubled in the system and they would not honor the price that was marked. The manager was called and they told the associate that the price that is on the computer is the price they have to go with because their merchandise was from another store. I don't blame the associate who helped me at all; they were very kind and apologetic. Such a shame. How could anyone trust buying from here when the price you see isn't the price you may pay? I guess I will have to try going back once they have been opened for a few months and they can get their prices corrected to the system prices, so there isn't such a big shock when you get to the register. Not the best first impressions.
Edit: they are finally honoring what's on the stickered price. We were told that the stickered price should always be honored. Looks like they are getting back on track with...
Read moreThey have a great selection of Kpop albums. I'm excited for that. However, they need better employees. Most stores in the mall today had their gates open before noon. We walked in at 11:56 because their gate was open like everyone else's. The guy I"m assuming was the manager let us look around for a minute or so before telling us that they wouldn't be open for another 10 minutes. I looked at him all confused and he said that their gate was messed up so that's why they weren't opening yet. He should have been standing at the gate to tell people instead of letting them come in and then telling them they couldn't buy anything yet. Poor management in that kind of situation. I was going to buy some albums ($20+ each) but I think I'll do it elsewhere. A bunch of people that were about to come in heard him tell us that and they left. Maybe next time they will learn how to handle situations like that better or their business...
