Chisum — Local services in Fort Sumner

No Feminine Hygiene products or diapers: We traveled from Albuquerque to Clovis and stopped at this location. My teen daughter needed feminine hygiene products and there were none in the store to purchase. They didn't even have diapers or first aid products. When I asked about it, the young male cashier was apologetic and suggested i walk across the street. I had to leave my teen daughter in the restroom as I walked across a busy highway street dodging semi trucks to the Family Dollar to purchase some. I've never been to a convenience store/gas station that didn't have those products. It was awful as a mom that I had to leave her there unattended. I recommend you go to Allsups. We would have driven over there but my daughter was in the restroom already waiting for my solution. When I asked to speak to the manager, the gentleman behind the counter introduced himself as the Asst Mgr. The manager is a female. The asset mgr seemed to know that they didn't have those products and that this wasn't a new topic. There was no effort to call the manager to connect us. He offered to give me her name, but that wouldn't have helped in the moment. He made no effort to collect my information either to give to the manager. Stopped here twice on the way to and from Austin. Both times the staff were very friendly. The store is clean and has a good selection of snacks. I didn't get any pizza, but they seemed to be selling quite a few, so I'll assume it's good. But the real selling point (and the reason for this review) are the bathrooms. We heard that they made pizza to order so we decided to check it out because we had been craving pizza. We ordered a Pepperoni Pizza with extra Pepperoni and pineapple. The pizza looked good, wished there were a little more Pepperonis. It tasted good but would have liked it a little crunchyer bottom crust.
