We arrived at 1115 and JUST beat the lunch rush! The restaurant was packed, and the food was AMAZING! I ordered the Billy the Kid with onion rings and ate everything! I would recommend anyone who wants a good burger to try this place out. The only thing I would recommend is not to let customers on the phone supersede the customer that was standing in front of you before the phone started ringing. We arrived at the counter, then the phone rang, and we’re told to please wait while she took the order of the customer on the phone. I believe great business sense and good customer service would make a visiting customer a higher priority over a customer calling in by phone. Otherwise, I’ll just go outside and call in my order to get good...

I was passing through on my way to the mountains and found this little diner. From the handdrawn menu to the incredibly friendly atmosphere, you can tell it's a special place right off the bat. The food did not disappoint. We had a green chili cheeseburger (the Billy the Kid), rubber hotdog and a plain cheeseburger.

They were divine. This immediately became a stop on our yearly trip to the mountains and back. We plan to visit on our way home in a week!

Edit: Forgot to mention that prices were excellent, the restaurant was clean and the RESTROOM was as well. One of us is extremely picky about restrooms and he said it made him feel more comfortable and safe than...

On a road trip enjoying different restaurants, had high expectations for this restaurant, only to 1) not get greeted 2) Manager telling the server to not let people order off kids menu after we started viewing the menu 3) server was nice enough to let us now the ranch was 25 cents only for the manager to yell "plus tax" rudely, server also seemed to be the only one doing anything and was trying to be nice. 4)After getting our food we noticed people in the kitchen just staring at me and my boyfriend. 5) Mind im mexican and my boyfriend is white, we had no problem paying for anything, the whole experience just felt prejudiced...

Passing through Fort Sumner on our way to Red River and stopped at Rodeo Grill for lunch. We were warmly invited in and menu explained. The food came out quickly and the atmosphere was nice. Not too busy but had a steady flow of customers. The fried pickles (not pictured) had a great flavor and came with delicious homemade ranch. Kids had chicken strip meal and kid's burger meal. Both were good portions for kids. I had the Billy the Kid Burger and husband had California Burger. Fries were seasoned and cooked perfectly.

Can’t miss it as you’re coming to town small private owned grill very casual. Seating indoors and outdoors with umbrellas. We had fantastic hamburgers and deep-fried mushrooms. They also serve omelettes and a couple of Mexican dishes. The menu is written in chalk on the wall very easy to read, family friendly was amazing.
