We arrived at 1115 and JUST beat the lunch rush! The restaurant was packed, and the food was AMAZING! I ordered the Billy the Kid with onion rings and ate everything! I would recommend anyone who wants a good burger to try this place out. The only thing I would recommend is not to let customers on the phone supersede the customer that was standing in front of you before the phone started ringing. We arrived at the counter, then the phone rang, and we’re told to please wait while she took the order of the customer on the phone. I believe great business sense and good customer service would make a visiting customer a higher priority over a customer calling in by phone. Read moreI was passing through on my way to the mountains and found this little diner. From the handdrawn menu to the incredibly friendly atmosphere, you can tell it's a special place right off the bat. The food did not disappoint. We had a green chili cheeseburger (the Billy the Kid), rubber hotdog and a plain cheeseburger.
They were divine. This immediately became a stop on our yearly trip to the mountains and back. We plan to visit on our way home in a week!

Read moreOn a road trip enjoying different restaurants, had high expectations for this restaurant, only to 1) not get greeted 2) Manager telling the server to not let people order off kids menu after we started viewing the menu 3) server was nice enough to let us now the ranch was 25 cents only for the manager to yell "plus tax" rudely, server also seemed to be the only one doing anything and was trying to be nice. 4)After getting our food we noticed people in the kitchen just staring at me and my boyfriend. 5) Mind im mexican and my boyfriend is white, we had no problem paying for anything, the whole experience just felt prejudiced...
