Very nice small campground with clean concrete sites, clean bathrooms and showers, and very nice laundry facility. The other RVers were also very friendly.
I camp in a truck camper and upon arrival a nice gentleman approached me as I was setting up and said that truck campers are not allowed, but that the owners agreed to let me stay because I was only staying a couple of days and that this policy was included in the rules that were emailed to me prior to arrival. So, I read the rules once again and found the following provision.
"Factory Built RVs (RVIA) Only. No homebuilt, pop-ups, homemade pick-up or camper vans. All units must carry RV industry approved electric and sewer connections."
My truck camper is a factory-built RV and only a couple years old. My truck camper is not a homemade and does carry RV industry approved electric and sewer connections.
To the owners and management, thank you for allowing me to stay as I had very important work in the area and likely would not have found another place to stay on such short notice. If your policy is that there are to be no truck campers, then I would ask you to reconsider this policy. I would also ask that you update the rules emailed prior to arrival to explicitly state there are to be no truck campers, even ones that are factory built and carry RV industry approved electric and sewer...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreStayed a week for a softball tournament. The grounds are nice and peaceful. There is a dog park that our dogs loved. Shower house/ Laundry facility is so clean and nice. Every day it seemed to have been cleaned up. The showers are in full bathrooms with great water pressure. Site 11 had morning shade, but got a little sunny in the afternoon Florida heat. The gate closes at night so you feel safe. While you are right off of a busy road when you are back in the park you do not feel like it. The road sounds never bothered us. We arrived a day early and luckily our same site was available. All I had to do was call and pay for the extra night. Very close to the softball parks. With bridge construction it takes 30-45 minutes to get to Destin and the beaches, but you just have to plan ahead of time. If we are ever back in Florida we will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreUpdated review from our last trip, 24-27 July 2025. I wish I could give this RV park more than 5 stars. This place is amazing, and the management is the best. They contacted us before arrival to let us know that the site was ready, and also called us after checkout to make sure everything went well. Not every RV park does that. I will be back soon. Keep up the great work. Excellent campground. Tranquil, spacious RV sites, great dog park, and superb management and staff. I had an issue with the 30-amp power, and within minutes, a lady from management was on my site to help. She went above and beyond to support me, even allowing me to use her 50-to-30-amp conversion cable. Sorry that I forgot her name. We will...
