Pontiac Street Market — Local services in Fort Wayne

In my honest opinion. The staff are really helpful, and their treatment of you goes above and beyond. Never have i caught them, not smiling and just enjoying life.I also wanted a grocery store that's personable and not full of dead to the world people. This place is just that! The prices. You litterly can't beat the fresh produce (aka fresh vegetables) prices. It also helps that I myself wanted to start eating healthier, and now I can simply walk down the street knowing I can actually afford it! However, the same can't be said for most of everything else. I have been told "your paying for the price of convenience." Which ok, but hear me out. Why stop at making just one section of your store affordable for the people who need it? Why not go above and beyond and make your store stand out more by making it the same prices of the grocery stores or $1 down from it. You'd be surprised at how much that dallor really counts for some people! Location and behavior outside. The location is amazing! perfect spot 10/10. The behavior of normal day to day people is actually better than I thought it'd be! However, the same can't be said for the drivers that litterly run the flashing yellow light sign and almost hit people. I would love to see them hire on a person who stands outside to enforce the traffic law. Overall rating 8/10 Will give different ratings over the year...

Hi! I have visited your market about 8 - 10 times now and I am over the moon on the quality of the produce that I have purchased from you! The prices are reasonable and low enough that I can shop often to support my whole food plant-based diet (WFPB). Shopping at the Pontiac Street Market is an easy, affordable and pleasurable experience in that all of the staff is helpful, knowledgeable and personable while maintaining an interested level of professionalism with patrons. I always look forward to my visits there and I continually encourage my family and friends to lend their support as well. I no longer have to drive all the way to Meijer for greens and sweet potatoes so you save me gas and time as well as a safer traffic jaunt. Today was my first stop in this store and man I wish I had came sooner! This shop was so fresh and clean and bright and smelled deliciously like fresh bread from the sub shop! This store was impressive from the start! They have a nice selection of fresh fruits and vegetables also. I was surprised to find out this shop takes both ebt and wic and is in partnership with 2 of the parkview hospitals as well! When you shop with an ebt card your fresh fruits and vegetables are basically half the price. They also have a Starbucks coffee machine and a small table and chairs inside also. But the best part was the friendliness of the workers from walking in to checking out. This store is definitely worth checking out especially if your hungry...
