My Little Sister through Big Brothers Big Sisters and I took a flower glass-making class this morning, and it was one of the coolest experiences of my life! At 12 and 35, we both had an absolute blast. The class was very hands-on, but you could participate as much or as little as you felt comfortable with. Eran was incredibly informative and made the experience fun and engaging. I learned so much and can’t wait to do it again.
What makes this even more special is that Eran partners with Big Brothers Big Sisters to provide this opportunity to Bigs and Littles. That kind of community involvement is truly amazing, and I’m so grateful for the experience. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and...
Read moreI took this class with my boyfriend and loved it. My boyfriend mostly just watched me then decided to try it out. We had Allen, I think his name was, as our teacher and he was very friendly, professional, and overall cool guy. The class is 2hrs but you really only get maybe an hour to play with the glass. You wish you had at least the full 2hrs! I will definitely take another class, which I believe he said was $99 for 2 hour 2 person class if you aren’t using Groupon. They let you explore and try things (within reason) and have fun while keeping you safe. If you love art and always wanted to try glasswork I think you’ll love this place. Highly...
Read moreWe did a 4 person class and had a blast! I made a mushroom, my friend made a pumpkin, and the other two of our party made paperweights. It was very neat to see the different process for everyone’s pieces. Eran did a demonstration at the beginning and made a mushroom to show us the process, dos and do not's. He made sure that everyone was comfortable despite the potential risks of working with molten glass. We will pick up our pieces here in a few days and we also purchased a few items from his shop, because how could you not!
Edited: added a picture of the mushroom I made and the mushroom Erin made during...
