Very Cluttered but Love the Staff! (Posted this 4 years ago!) a lot has changed.!

I am absolutely appalled!! I have shopped at the Dollar General for 4 years.! Have shopped with my kids many times over the years so much so my now 16 year old was 12 years old when we began shopping at Bryant Irvin Location.! Stopped in recently to grab food and swishers.! I enjoy buying my own tobacco and rolling with swishers.! Have done this for years although I never get swishers from the Dollar General bc they don’t have my favorite flavors which are Cream or Legend.!! I asked the cashier girl what flavors they had, regular and diamond.! I don’t like either one.! Literally as I’m deciding in my head whether to run to 7-eleven for my flavors I prefer or grab one at the dollar general! I’m on my way to drop my son off at home and go to work.! Didn’t have much time so I went with Diamond BUT GET THIS!!! As I’m trying to decide, I glanced over at my son! (Remembering I still have to run him home b4 work plus I spotted pink lip gloss I may want to grab (behind him) just before looking in my sons direction who BTW is literally paying Zero Attention to me or the cashier.!! The female cashier decided that bc I LOOKED at MY VERY OWN CHILD the cashier said that I was buying the swisher for my SON!!!!! WTH!!?? I told her GOD NO, that is MY SON! I’m buying it for myself as always.!!! The cashier refused to sell the swisher to me, I said no problem I wil go to 7-eleven.! As I’m standing there in complete and utter shock plus my blood beginning to boil, I told this female cashier to NEVER ACCUSE ME OF THAT MESS AGAIN.! The cashier said. “I will refuse service to yoU!” I said to go ahead bc I’m done with her and this place.! This female cashier begins screaming to the TOP OF HER LUNGS for her Manager.!! TIFFANY!!! TIFFANY!! TIFF!! TIFFANY!! No EXAGGERATION!! She says to me, “YOU can Talk to my manager Tiffany!” TIFFANY!! I said no problem! I’m waiting right here for Tiffany! Tiffany came up and I explained what happened! Told TiffanY I am very upset and embarrassed with a store full of people plus my son is witnessing this abuse and discrimination against HIS MOTHER.! After explaining to Tiffany, this female cashier screamed loudly in front of everyone “she asked her son which flavor.!” Which of course is a FLAT OUT Lie.! Told Tiffany to watch her cameras and left!! Appalled! Sickened! Feeling extremely judged and treated so absolutely UNFAIR, UNBELIEVABLE, UNFORGETTABLE, UNFORTUNATE, and ABSOLUTELY TERRIFYING! I’m seeking Legal Advice to see how I may stand up for my RIGHTS!! This female cashier screamed at me, against me, and in front of a store full of guests and employees, she accused me of something I NEVER DID and Discriminated against me by refusing me service with ZERO PROOF OF ANYTHING I DID WRONG yet ACCUSING ME WITH FALSE ABRUBT UN-Logical and DISGUSTING accusations.!! That is MY SON SHE JUST ACCUSED ME OF BUYING A DAMN SWISHER for which disgusts me to my CORE.!! DollaR General on Bryant Irvin with Tiffany as the manager and a female white cashier about in her early 30s! Should have gotten her name and/or began recording.! If I am ever treated this way again when leaving my safe home to enter this crazy world full of people ready to attack anyone, I will RECORD!! I am so Angry! I usually let things roll off of my back but sometimes you have to pick and choose your battles.! This is one I’m prepared for.! Thank God for Legal Shield.! Contacting my Attorneys to decide my next move.! I will look at my son anytime I choose to bc he is MY SON but to accuse me of looking at my son and asking him what flavor Is beyond me and INSANELY INCORRECT AND INSULTING!! As I said, I...

If i could rate lower I would. My mother went to this location and did have a few (less than 5) coupons. For some reason the coupons did not scan. The lady was very rude and yelled "I don't know why these coupons are not scanning. My mother is a very timid lady. She told her, that's ok, you can take them off. She stared at my mom and asked, " what are you waiting on". My mother then stated, I'm waiting to pay for my other items. They lady then said, "you told me to cancel them". After sighing each time she would speak to my mother in frustration and what seemed to she hated her job. My mother then told her she would leave because she seemed to be very frustrated. When she walked out the lady called her "stupid". After my mother asked to speak with her manger she refused to give her that information. My mother left, called up to the store because at this point, my 58 year old mother is upset and would like to speak to someone of authority. The same woman answers the phone and hangs up every time she calls. I don't know if this is how Dollar General treats their customers but we will not, return and we will make sure and tell our family and friends to not visit this store. The woman was Hispanic with glasses. We are Hispanic so race is not an issue here. I work in customer service and would NEVER allow my patients to be treated this way. She should receive a final or be terminated. We may not be able to speak to a manger due to the employee not allowing this but I hope this helps someone else family member from going...

Me and my husband went shopping there yesterday night June the 3rd I am veryy unhappy with how we was treated and we’re shopping and old male employee stop at the section we’re in just watching us and he’s crumbling a piece wrapper up , my husband asked does he needs to get through and he goes and say no just checking it out as he’s just staring at us . I’m so uncomfortable I just get away from the whole section with my lil girl . Anyways we ended up checking out I paid for all our stuff and leave . We ended up forgetting to grab another item so my husband goes back to go buy the item we needed . When he goes back to the store, he’s accused of stealing these shoes we paid for when we first came to the store that he just put on wen he went back , he was accused by the same male employee and female employee . They assume he stole them WHICH I HAD THE RECEIPT FOR !! .anyways the situation got out of hand which ended up with the police being called on my husband . We try to go back today to talk to the general manager about what happen but she wasnt tryna hear any of it .ofc taking sides with her employees . I will being getting in contact with district bc this was horrible how we was treated the fact that the same male employee made seem like he had gun on him and acting like he was gonna pull it out on my husband and YOU TELLING ME NOTHING GONNA BE DONE ABOUT IT !!?I will be taking this into...
