The Market at Ridglea — Local services in Fort Worth

I love supporting small businesses. I walked in to the marketplace about 15 minutes before closing last night. Loved everything I saw but was unable to finish shopping. At promptly 6pm I was asked if I was ready to check out. I understand 6 is your closing time but you lost additional purchases by rushing me out. I do not typically share bad reviews but I felt this experience warranted one. I walked in and the lady looked me up and down and scoffed. I still decided to browse the store because, I love to support small business and came with ample money to spend. I didn’t have an associate check on me ONCE. I decided to make a purchase but stood at the check out for 10 minutes and no one ever came to check me out, so I left my items at the counter. Looks do not determine wealth. I walked into this place today and felt like I was given a bad review ! No one should be judged by what they wear. You don’t know if I had .5¢ in my pocket or 5 million. I learned many years ago working retail, not to judge a person by their clothes. It’s amazing all the signs, telling customers there are cameras. If that was the case, you would’ve known I was patiently waiting at the counter, ready to buy something. But since, no one ever came to the counter, I left. I won’t be back !
