I never leave reviews, but I feel like I was taken advantage of by this store and need to speak up.
I went in to upgrade my daughter’s phone and was initially greeted by a friendly employee. We told him exactly which phone we wanted, but when he gave us the total (including tax and activation), the numbers didn’t add up. When I asked for clarification, he continuously overtalked me and seemed like he was trying to confuse the situation on purpose.
He told my daughter to pick out a free case and said he would include a free screen protector since my husband and I had recently bought our phones there too. He later admitted they didn’t even have the screen protector and asked if we’d go to another store to get it. I told him not to worry because I had an extra one at home. He also threw in earbuds, an extra charger, and a Bluetooth speaker — all of which he implied were complimentary.
But when we left, the total still didn’t sit right with me. I realized he never gave me a receipt, so I went back and asked for one. That’s when things really went downhill. He got an attitude and acted annoyed that I was questioning the charges. He claimed he gave me the “promo price” on the phone, but I saw the actual promo pricing — and it was $200 less than what he charged me. Even when I called customer service, they confirmed that I was not given the promo price.
To make things worse, I saw on the receipt that he charged me for every single item he said was free — even the glass screen protector that I never received because it was out of stock. He then tried to justify it by saying he “took off the taxes” so he could include the freebies. The taxes were $84, but the “free” items added up to $289.88 — clearly not a fair trade.
When I told him I just wanted the phone and didn’t need all the extras, instead of fixing the situation, he told me I could return everything for a full refund and go buy the phone somewhere else. That is not good customer service — it felt like he was brushing me off instead of making it right.
I truly feel like I was taken advantage of. When my husband and I bought our phones (the exact same models), we were not treated this way. It really felt like I was being overtalked, misled, and manipulated — possibly because I was a woman and he thought I wouldn’t question him.
I will never shop at this location again, and I strongly advise others to double-check everything, ask for receipts, and don’t let anyone pressure or confuse you into paying more...
Read moreI was in the area and decided to stop to shop for a tablet, there were 2 guys, 1 said he was the manager, any way I ended up buying 4 tablets and 4 cases. I did pay cash, at the end of the transaction they told me the printer was broken, and that they will send me the receipt by email. When I was on the way to my ranch my son checked on the cases, and they weren't the same as the ones they showed me in the store, so I decided to go back to town so I can return to the store in the morning. I returned to the store, and asked for the same kind of cases, but they were out of stock, and I also asked for the receipt, they kept telling me that the printer was broken..... I feel that they're trying to keep it to redeem the rebates, or they over charge me, something very fishy is happening. I will go back again tomorrow,to see if they have the cases and my receipt It has been a very...
Read moreI normally experience great customer service at this location. However, when I went in yesterday, and granted I went in 5 minutes till closing time. I really hate being that person, but I have worked in retail before and even if a customer walks in 1 minute before closing, they are still a customer and should be served. When I walked in with the door still open and the open light still on. The reps were in the back room, I out of courtesy asked if they were still open and the girl working said no. When I looked back after walking out the door, the time was 7:59 and she was smiling as she was closing out the register. She didn't ask me what I needed, just said No!. Won't be going back to...
