Hot-spot-gyro — Restaurant in Fort Worth

This place is a gem. It advertises as authentic Mediterranean street food. I don't really know what kind of street food is served in Mediterranean countries but oh my goodness this is so good. I keep going back and trying things I haven't tried before and each time it just gets better. The last time I was in, they suggested that I try the fried kibbeh. If you're not familiar with that, they look like little fried footballs. They've got seasoned meat inside. So I guess it's kind of like a meat pie? Whatever. I almost never eat meat, and that was just a reminder of what I was missing.

My personal favorite, though, is the creamy baba ganoush. It pairs really well with the soft warm pita bread.

I stopped by Hot Spot Gyro and ordered the Beef Shawarma Salad — and wow, it did not disappoint! The beef was super flavorful and cooked just right, and the salad itself was incredibly fresh. I loved that it was made right in front of me — you can really taste the difference when food is that fresh.

The portion size was perfect — filling, but not too heavy. Great choice if you’re looking for something healthy that still hits all the flavor notes.

I have to say 10/10 would recommend. I had a little issue and the owners literally found me on Facebook and apologized for the issue, anybody willing to do that alone for me is a plus. That means they care about their customers.

Let me start with the Chicken Shawarma plate, everything was delicious, down to the salad! It’s everything I have been craving these last few days.
