Daiso - Japanese Household Goods — Local services in Four Corners States

Do I recommend it? YES. Really good prices and good quality items. YET on the opening days was disappointing, due to the lack of common sense. 1- After waiting to get inside the inside was a sauna with the ACs turn off. Why turn off? I don’t know maybe because the store was packed and didn’t want to force the AC. The AC weren’t bad because the employees were going to the back and the AC there was working. That’s being cheap. 2 - Only two employees on the registers, so the line was stupid long, and like 10 employees stalking the clientele because they didn’t had anything else to do. Instead of having the employees charging with remote registers 3 - Location beautiful but to far from the main clientele, is common sense you want to be close to your clientele right. I went to this store the other day and I couldn't believe how much stuff they have. They must have thousands of items, from housewares and hardware to arts and crafts supplies, electronics, garden and camping gear, kitchenwares, office supplies to snacks and more.

Most items are $1.75, but some are more. Everything is priced in Yen, but they have the conversion to $ posted, which may be a bit confusing at first. The prices are amazing though, especially considering the quality of the products.

They have so many cool things, from the mundane to the innovative. So, if you are looking for a fun outing, go check out this store and spend some time browsing the aisles. It will make shopping fun again!

Now, if they would only remove their annoying distorted "background" music they'd deserve...

I first stumbled upon Daiso when I lived in San Francisco and absolutely fell in-love with the store. While the options don't seem as vast as those ones I've visited, I'm still happy to have this store down the road. My inner-child was squealing with glee.

However, it does get hot in there, and staff make it obvious that they're following you about. I would expect better, considering the location. Hopefully, as time goes on, they'll sort out the kinks.
