My husband and I have done most of our grocery shopping at fresh foods ever since they opened. We can get a lot of things cheaper at Walmart in Fort Morgan, but we prefer to support local businesses. But that’s a two-way street, they need to support us as well. We spend on average between $5000 and $6000 a year at their business, but no more. My husband bought two loaves of the wrong kind of bread, and I took them back to trade them for the right kind. One of them was a little smashed up from the way I carried it in, and the customer service lady refused to take it. I have attached a picture of how it looked by the time I got it back home. The scrunched up thing was just temporary because of the way I carried it. I couldn’t believe that good loyal customers like us who were trying to support their local business would be treated this way, over one loaf of bread. And she wasn’t particularly polite about it either. Pretty rude in fact. I now have a loaf of bread that I can’t eat. Henceforth, we will be taking our business somewhere where they support us as much as we support them. Maybe next time they’ll stop to ask whether the price of a loaf of bread, that had never been opened and wasn’t even damaged, was worth losing all...

Went in to get cash off of my EBT card and the highschool guy needed help, he called the lady at customer service and she came over, talked specifically to the other employee didn't even talk to me, she said I needed to buy something with my ebt card for the option to select cash back, I purchased a drink and gum but didn't get the option. Walked over to customer service and she was really had a really rude attitude, I said I didn't get the option for cash back, she said I had to use the cash option on the ebt card but I explained the cash is for gas which is why most people get cash is for a gas voucher, other than those on other benefits, she continued to be rude, she said she told me to use the cash option to be able to receive the cash back option, I mentioned she only said to make a purchase, she denied that and walked away, another lady at customer service said I could go to a ATM to receive cash off but was rude as well, the highschool lady helped me with a refund after she was done with another customer, the 2 lady's have been there for ever and I've never had that sort of attitude from them. Sad that's small town service. Probably won't ever...

Customer service is touch and go, bought "fajita" meat that was so tough my husband and I couldn't bite through it. Prices are crazy and quality is questionable. It was the wrong cut completely.

It seems very obvious the butcher isn't properly trained as we've gotten multiple cuts that were...completely wrong. Not to mention the black spots...
