I live in ironwood crossing, first of all, this place is way better than Safeway! Second, the staff is very nice ! However, Locking the east side door at 7pm every night ticks me off beyond words because I always forget you guys shut it at 7! Do you know thereâs a gym opening on that entrance side and ppl are gonna wanna either come before their workout for an energy drink or after to pick up a few things for a âquick fryâs runâ? You guys will lose out on a lot of sales if you continue to close this door at 7. And also , is it just a thing at fryâs where the customer service desk isnât rude ? I worked at target for 10 years and brainwashed myself to accept every return without question because it isnât my money Iâm giving them. Please do the same fryâs! Thereâs no reason to question a simple return . I had a very rude interaction multiple times with a lady, sheâs a little older , has glasses and has worked at fryâs forever I learned, sheâs a trainer and does the cash office but I cannot remember her name. So rude to me and my boys because we didnât know how to use the self checkout location where the belt moves and than you bag your own groceries, maybe itâs time to get out of retail...
Read moreI had a disappointing experience at Fryâs recently. I noticed an item on the shelf with a lower price, but when I went to check out, the register rang up a higher amount. I pointed this out to the checkout assistant, but instead of looking into it, she argued that she couldnât do anything except remove the item from my cart. She told me if I wanted it at the lower price, Iâd have to go back and take a picture myself.
So I didâI went back, took a photo of the shelf tag, and returned to the register. But by the time I got back, she had already removed the item. When I showed her the photo, she continued to argue, claiming the price tag was for a different product, even though the shelf had multiple of the same item under that tag. I didnât want to escalate the situation over a few dollars, so I chose not to buy the item and left.
Fryâs really needs to train their associates better on treating customers respectfully and professionally. Also, under Arizona law, stores are required to honor the lowest advertised price. This experience left a bad impression, and I hope the store takes steps to improve...
Read moreToday, once again my wife wanted to visit the Fryâs grocery store after hitting the gym, however I reminded her of the understaffing issue and poor employee morale that infects that location. We only need to get lunch meat at the deli she said so I was overruled. đ. As I waited in the deli line which there was no line at all, the employees were working on something I said hello to both of them, Letting them know I was there. Usually, they write my name down and let me continue my shopping however this time that did not happen. Another customer arrived and was taken before me while my wife waited. I went to the customer service counter to ask for the manager. I spoke with a gentleman named Avery. He had stated that the manager is busy and cannot see me. I am perplexed as Iâm not sure what the store managerâs job at this location is, but I did think it was customer service. I mustâve been wrong.. Probably wonât come back to the store for quite some time as I believe the morale is super poor due to bad management. People need to get fired so that they can start...
