This was my first time camping at J&H RV Park. I made a reservation because it was listed as a senior park with no smoking and pet friendly. When I checked in, I met Angie who is very helpful, friendly and personable. I also met Gonzo, the kitty, who claimed the park as his own. The park is family owned and Angie said her father built it from the ground up 45 years ago. The special touches in the park make it feel homey. I was only staying for one night because I was passing through. But I can see me coming back to stay for a week or more. The park has laundry machines, showers and even a room just to relax in. There are big trees and lots of shade. Even the dog park area has shade and a little grass.

This has to be the nicest RV park I've ever visited. Everything is clean and beautiful. There is a reason it's so nice. It's adult only. No children. No screaming, just quiet. Perfection is not cheap. It's the most expensive RV park I've ever been in but honestly, it's worth it. The bathroom/showers are huge and have everything you would want. It's obvious a lot of work and affection go into this park. The RV's are well kept and I never once heard a loud engine, blasting stereo or screaming child. I can highly recommend a stay here.

Best RV park in Arizona! I would give a rating of 6 if I could! Super kind and helpful staff! J&H is family owned and ran. Extremely clean and well taken care of. Spaces are mostly level with gravel and easy hookups. They are very dog friendly, even have a dog wash. We highly recommend this park. 👍👍👍

Apparently the reviewers did not catch Harvey having a bad day. Paying top dollar for lousy Internet and no cable. ||||We stayed for 2 nights to meet up someone we had not seen in a while traveling through AZ. We attempted to hook up the cable which was a fail. We asked our friend to help and they could not make it work either and said their cable was not working either. We thought, oh well, i'll just watch something on the internet. That was a fail too, it kept cutting out, and we were right next to the building, so we used our mobile data, no sweat. ||||On our last day I realized that I needed to update our GPS for our next trip... and I needed to use my laptop.. these downloads typically take a few minutes to upload.. ( no mobile data on the laptop). It was super early, so I figured I figured there would be low usage.. so I got connected, but once again the internet service was up and down. I would get the update started but would never finish because it would still cut out.. I called the office and it was not open until 11am ,which is check out time.. and the message said to call back later which was ( could not leave a message) and I did not know who to contact next as it was our first time at this camp ground. ||||We were getting packed up getting ready to check out very soon, and about a half hour before we were to check out, a white haired guy, (later found out his name was Harvey) stopped by and asked if we were able to get the cable hooked up and my husband said no. So I popped my head out of the RV and mentioned the internet going up and down and before I could finish my sentence, and I got the most RUDE responses from him. He said "My grand daughter could hook it up", I'm in shock not knowing what to say, then he added "No one else complained" .. and the finale, he said "I dont believe you". Then hopped in his cart and began to take off. ||||I dont know this man from Adam and have no clue why he would be so rude... In shock I said to my husband ... Seriously, I have no idea what got into this man... by now its 30 min prior to check out and the air shuts off... we realized.....he cut off our power!!||||A couple minutes later a woman came by showing her phone saying the internet works... (remember, I never said it didnt work, I said it was going up and down) I told her what he said, and she said that it was inappropriate. SShe kept making excuses for him... I'll bet they've been making excuses for him, enabling him his entire life... that's why he continues is bad behavior. She was very nice, but never did turn back on our power ... that we paid for. ||||NO CABLE - LOUSEY INTERNET - HIGH PRICE.. - If you choose to stay, I hope that Harvey doesn't shut...

First of all I want to compliment you on the lovely little park you have. It is clean and attractive. Although your pull thru spaces are a little tight, it was adequate for the one night we stayed. However, I do need to tell you about my very negative encounter with Harvey, the manager/owner. What started as a fun reunion this past Sunday with our daughter & her husband, who drove from Prescott just to see us, was dampened by the outright disrespect, rudeness, and classless ttreatment by Harvey, all because my kids failed to register as visitors and had their 2 dogs locked safely in their car under the shade of a tree behind my 5th wheel. I attempted to apologize that they neglected to register and he would have no part of my apology, saying its in the rules!!! I hadn't had a chance to review their rules as we had just arrived and as we finished setting up, our kids arrived. He said the dogs cannot be here because of the liability they create for him and they must leave the property right now!!!! I again apologized and said we would be leaving for dinner in about 15 minutes and his response was "No! You will leave right now!!!" Never in my 70 years have I ever been spoken to so badly or had gestapo tactics used on me over a rule infraction that was so quickly rectified. The same result could have been accomplished in a sane, professional, and polite manner with no negative feelings on my or my daughter's part. As we left for dinner my husband approached Harvey to apologize again, and was met with the same attitude. My husband said we were sorry, but we didn't know. Harvey then gave my husband a nasty, stern look and said "well, you know now!" and turned and walked away. In speaking with other campers, my interaction with Harvey is not an isolated case. This park did not provide me with a positive experience, and I feel my hard earned money will be better spent elsewhere with people who appreciate my business and...

This was our 5th or 6th stay here and as always, it didn't disappoint. Access from Hwy 89 is easy. Check in is quick and pleasant. We easily found our pull through site which was level and plenty long enough for our Class A and our tow vehicle. Our site had a concrete patio and nice picnic table. We had a few trees but none were situated such as to provide much shade most of the day. There are some sites that have much more shade. Sites are a bit close where we were but not too much. There are other sites that have good spacing which are generally given to longer term campers. Full hookups are well located with choice of sewer hookups closer to the front or closer to the back of the site allowing you to choose which works better. Water hydrant was a bit low but didn't require any creativity to attach our inline filter with our hose. 50amp service was steady at about 120/leg. WIFI was 4.73 down & 1.25 up. We didn't use it other than to check the speed. FMCA hotspot had good connectivity but was often throttled. T-mobile cell service was good and we used it as a hotspot when the FMCA hotspot was throttled too much to be usable. We didn't use the cable as there were many good OTA channels. It's a small, family owned park so it's quiet. Really the only downside is Hwy 89 as it is a very busy road although the traffic noise is minimal in the park. Making a left hand turn out of the park can take some patience. There is a center turn lane that helps. We've stayed at a couple of other RV parks in Flagstaff and this is by far our first choice. Mary's Diner just up the street has wonderful food with a fabulous chicken fried steak. Easy driving distance to the Grand Canyon, Sunset Crater and Wupatki National Monuments are close by. The Conoco up the street is a good place to fill up large rigs...
