I have been going to this nail salon since I moved to the area, and up til today, I had nothing but praise for them! They had always done impeccable work. Today was a different story. They got me right in, which was really nice, and the lady that began my pedicure was very sweet, but she cut me a couple times with the cuticle scissors. The scrub on my legs was very nice. It all went south when she began to paint my toenails. She was rushing, and it got very messy. The color was not what I had requested, and she got pulled somewhere else and another girl took over. She was extremely rushed as well, and the color smeared all over my toes. I understand that things happen and that mistakes happen, but when I asked her to please remove the color because it was a mess, she acted like I was giving her a personal hassle. I decided I didn’t want a nail color after all, and had her just remove it. There are still traces of the color that she didn’t get off. The worst part was the end. If I had had a full pedicure with the results that I had anticipated, I had no problem paying the full price. The girl told me the price-$45!- and acted like I was being unreasonable when I asked why. She said it was because they had done the other stuff. I was tempted to ask her if my pedicure was a product her business could be proud of, but I refrained. She had no...

I’ve never gone somewhere for a pedicure, and didn’t have my heels cleaned up. Cost $60 to just have my nails painted and lotion put on. Pretty disappointed in my experience. To make matters worse my daughter had a full acrylic set with a design that she had a picture of done (which we paid over $100 for!). The design was not like the picture she wanted and we noticed that the edges were super sharp! We went back to have them smooth the edges down and ask them to just paint the nails a solid color. The lady preceded to tell us that it took her an HOUR to decide what design she wanted and she spend A LOT of time doing her nails (which was really about an hour from the moment we sat down to when we where paying) so not sure how that timing adds upšŸ¤” an hour to decide, and an hour to do nails is 2 hours right?! Either way she took it to the next level real quick and said I CAN REFUND YOUR MONEY AND CUT THE NAILS OFF! At that point there was no reason discussing the sanding of the edges, or changing the color…she was extremely rude and aggressively cut her nails off almost to the point of cutting my daughter! This is no way of treating people.People can disagree without acting like this! Wouldn’t go back...

We've been coming here almost since the day they reopened last year after the remodel. I cannot say enough great things about Ocean Nails. Hannah and Boi put their entire heart and soul in here. I know they've been struggling to find long-term nail techs due to commute out to Roxborough but let me tell you, that does NOT stop them from providing not only great service but service that shows they genuinely care about their customers and the quality of work they do. I have never left here with even the tiniest hint of dissatisfaction. I feel cared for and pampered and both my nails and toes show it. Everything is gleamingly clean. So relaxing and comfortable. ⭐ ⭐⭐ ⭐⭐

They take walk ins but I would recommend planning ahead and making an appt especially if you're doing a girl's day out, besties lunch and nails date or mom/daughter mani/pedi date. I think it would help them to plan ahead to ensure they can continue providing the exceptional service they already do and help to make your experience as great as...

I don’t do my nails often only on special occasions so it was quite disappointing that this was not an all around good experience :/ My nail tech filed my pinky cuticle too much and filed the side too, you can see how cut up it got. My MIL had somewhere to go afterwards so I didn’t have time to really look at my nails but once at home I can see how the tip of the nails aren’t precise:( some are crooked and bumpy and some are very bulky too. The design on the nail unfortunately didn’t look like the reference pic either so that was a bummer too..ik the nail tech tried but come on, I’m paying for these🄲 my nail tech was also on TikTok live lol which I didn’t notice and didn’t mind but she could have at least asked for permission or let me know bc I of the conversations I was having with other people(don’t want our business being out there like that) also she was just kinda cold shoulder so yeah….not an all around good experience :/

I don't like to shame nail salons, and I love a good mani-pedi. So I'm going to be honest. I got an infection!! I got my nails and toes done and the next week my left foot was itchy, burning, and the nail polish was chipping. It was a bump full of fluid and I had to use medicated ointment cream for weeks. I still have constant itching and redness. Not to mention the fact that the workers were VERY unprofessional and racist!! And also, the least you could tell your workers to do is change their damn pedicure sheets. 0/10 Do not recommend.
