When I walked into the restaurant, I saw a young Hispanic boy and said the equivalent of "Hey, how you doing?", in Spanish. The look he gave me made me wonder if he didn't know the language. His attitude and his mispronunciation of the food made me realize, no, he didn't speak the language, and no, he most likely didn't want me there. But as hungry as I was, I tried to order something to eat. I was looking at the prices on the menu and he was telling me those weren't the real prices, and he was jacking up the prices on menu some .50¢., still with that condescending attitude. So I thought to myself, "I don't need this". And without so much as a "thank you", I turned around and walked right out. If he didn't know the Spanish, he could have told me. I'm an American that speaks two languages (English and Spanish) fluently. I went there as a paying customer, not as a beggar. People that work in the food service industry know to treat there customers in a courteous manner unless otherwise deemed not to. I wasn't being rude. I didn't deserve to be treated that way. The only other thing I can think of is, it works both ways. I'll never go there again. I definitely don't...
Read morePlaced an online order and it said it would be ready in 10 min. I waited 18 min thinking that's enough time, I got there and the lady at the counter hardly speaks English and speaks super quiet. She told me my food was coming right out. So I'm waiting, for 30 min, while they push out all kinds of orders placed after mine; it is only three items, no drinks, pretty simple. She calls out an order by the wrong name, Steve. And there it sat for a good 10 min while I'm watching order go out. Finally someone in the back brings it out to me and hands me the Steve bag 🤣. Food was okay.. but the green chili is awful! When the food has been sitting for no reason, it's not very fresh. A good hour later and I'm very unsatisfied. Never will I darken the doorway again. The order was placed by Jessica, not Steve....
Read moreLove this place. When half the clientele of a Mexican restaurant is Hispanic, you know you're in the right place. My husband got the chili relleno, and I got a Taco al Pastor and a Taco Tijuana and everything was wonderful. I loved getting the double corn tortilla, and the Taco Tijuana was chewy with cheese, had lovely caramelized onions, and hefty beef all topped with a generous heap of mashed avocado. The al Pastor was savory with a creamy green sauce, and had lovely chunks of grilled pineapple. The sweetness was great with the spice of the grilled pork. The red salsa that came with the tacos was fresh and vibrant and spicy enough to really lend zing to the parts I wanted it on. It was also nice that they had a few tables outside, and we were welcome to them after we...
