Saffron Indian Fusion Flair — Restaurant in Littleton

Food here is great, but it's not quite at that 'amazing' level that most of the reviews are suggesting.

Great: Spice. They don't pull their punches on making it truly spicy, which as a South Indian, was exactly what I was looking for with the level 5 spice option. Outside of that, I loved the quality of their naan and samosa, which both tasted amazing!

OK: The curry, which albeit spicy like mentioned, could've had more flavor. While not to the same degree, think of making a broth ONLY out of habaneros.

Bad: Lamb biriyani. This is especially disappointing since biriyani is generally considered the "most authentic Indian dish" which is what I am most eager to try at any Indian restaurant. It lacked in both flavor and spice altogether, and the lamb morsels were a bit tough from overcooking.

Definitely will come by again and try more stuff out though, I'd even recommend it too. But I'd implore folks to try other amazing Indian restaurants in the area for comparison (Highlands Indian Cuisine, Havelis Indian Cuisine, and Bawarchi Biriyani, as some...

We are SO excited for this place to open up and it’s a great alternative for what was our go to Indian restaurant in Highlands Ranch 20 min away! The prices are almost the same too (slightly smaller naan here but that’s ok) so it’s a no brainier for us going forward! And of course the foods is DELICIOUS!!! The food has good flavor. But the prices are outrageous. $10 for a very small bowl of broccoli soup that has no broccoli in it? Again, $10 for a small bowl of soup? 🤣🤣🤣 Then a dumpling appetizer for $15? After a 20% tip I'm looking at around $32. This is for a very small bowl of soup and an appetizer of dumplings.
