I've visited Ten3 twice in 2023. The most recent experience was Sep 2023 on the casual dining side for a friend's birthday as a party of 7. The fine dining side has the ability to accommodate reservations but would not accommodate a child's menu, so we knew ahead of time that we were going to the casual dining side. We arrived at the tram at 4pm, we were probably at the top by 445pm at the latest. When we arrived at the host stand, we advised it was for a birthday celebration and requested a table for 7. The wait time was quick probably no more than 10 minutes and we were ushered in to a mostly empty dining room and promptly sat in a corner far away from the windows, despite multiple tables being available with great views. The tables we were accommodated at were in an L configuration so some of our party was sitting with their backs to others in the party. However, there was another available table directly next to the main table. We requested the host stand to sit the split portion of the party at the other table instead and were told no, that they were "saving" the table for future guests. After some time we determined that we could adjust the table we were allowed to sit at, and the chairs moved so that we could all sit together. The manager was alerted by our server to our adjustment of the table configuration. He immediately was combative and demanded to know "who moved the table?!". We explained how the arrangement was not allowing for our party to interact so we adjusted, he again seemed to not care for our situation and simply wanted the table moved away stating that fire code would not allow for more than 6 to sit at a table. We again requested the ability have the rest of our party sit at the empty table next to the one where the main part of the party was seated so we could at least all see each other and interact. After some hesitance and clear displeasure, he agreed.

If Ten3 cannot seat more than parties of 6 at a table or multiple tables pushed together due to a fire code, they should advise folks of that on their website , and at the host stand when checking in that they will need to be sat at multiple tables that might not be together.

Our server was attentive and clearly uncomfortable with the way the interaction had occurred, but he did his best. As a former restauranteur, I'm simply baffled at the way this evening went. Tables next to the lovely east facing views remained empty throughout our 2 hours dining. The length of our dining experience was mostly due to long delays at bar service, and either lack of staff or poor arrangement of tables to staff. Other guests seemed to have similar issues as I saw a party of two guests be sat deliberately in chairs at the bar that were separated by the server well, I assume they requested to be sat together as they shook their heads and left. Another couple was sat at a table in the middle of the room, and when they requested to move to a table by the windows that was empty, they were told no. The manager ended up coming over to argue with them as well, and eventually allowed them to move from their original table to the empty table with a better view. I'm not sure why the staff seem so reticent to seat folks who arrived early, presumably on purpose as was our case, at an available and clearly more desirable table. Why a restaurant that is literally designed for its views would want to hold tables for these future guests that somehow deserve them more than folks who came ahead of them, when reservations are not an option for the casual dining area, makes no sense to me. I feel that Ten3 could improve their understanding of a first come first serve method of running their dinner service.

I've provided 2 stars as the experience is unique, the food is good if expensive and their drinks...

TL;DR: Raw Chicken, Lacking Service, and Questionable Ambience … with a View!

My visit to "Ten 3" was marked by an experience that I can only describe as catastrophic. The title of this review might already give you a sense of what went wrong, but there's more to the story. I ordered chicken wings and what I received was nothing short of a culinary nightmare. The chicken was raw in the center. Like pink and squishy raw. I could practically hear the salmonella bacteria rejoicing as I chewed through the rubbery flesh. When we brought it to their attention, they offered to comp the chicken wings, but we didn’t want any chicken after that. I was honestly surprised they didn’t offer to comp anything else. I literally just took a bite of chewy pink chicken! When my wife, rightly dissatisfied with their indifference, voiced her concerns, they talked down to her instead of addressing the issue with any degree of professionalism or empathy. In addition to this major food safety issue, "Ten 3" also managed to disappoint in other areas. Despite boasting breathtaking views, the overall ambiance was plagued by an incessant noise that made it feel more like a sports bar during a heated match than a fine dining establishment. The loud conversations, clinking cutlery, and constant background chatter created an atmosphere that was far from sophisticated. Perhaps satisfactory after a hike but don’t expect any ‘fine dining’ from that joint. Adding to the confusion were multiple large-screen TVs strategically placed throughout the dining area. These screens, tuned to various sports events, were a stark reminder that "Ten 3" is struggling to define its identity. The juxtaposition of high-definition sports broadcasting against the backdrop of picturesque nature left me wondering whether I was in a restaurant or a sports bar. This incongruity further undermined the establishment's claim to provide a fine dining experience. While I hoped that the cuisine would redeem the experience, it failed to do so. The food was mediocre at best, and the higher than average prices (because of the difficulty in operating in such a location, in all fairness) did not align with the quality of the dishes. This restaurant seems more interested in capitalizing on its prime location and breathtaking views rather than delivering a top-tier dining experience. Side note, I also overheard some of the hostesses talking about pocketing a bracelet someone had left behind at their table! I would be very careful to not leave anything behind if you do choose to visit! This event explains some other reviews I’ve seen regarding people losing things left at this restaurant. In conclusion, "Ten 3" is a perplexing establishment that misses the mark on what it claims to offer. The stunning views are sadly overshadowed by the noisy ambiance and a sports bar atmosphere that is at odds with fine dining. If you seek an elegant dining experience that matches the beauty of the surroundings, I recommend looking elsewhere. "Ten 3" may provide a view to remember, but it falls far short of delivering a dining experience to remember for all the...

07/04/2024 First, I want to preface this review of Ten3 by writing that our wait staff, including our waiter and the staff who delivered our food and made sure our water glasses were full, were excellent! All members of the wait staff were friendly, helpful, courteous and generous with their time. The food we ordered was excellent. All of our meals were fresh and made to order. To add, our waiter was very detailed with the menu and what Ten3 offered for entree choices as well as salads and sides. With that, I must include a matter that occurred during our meal that very well could have ruined the entire experience. When you make a reservation online, it is very clearly stated that seating time for the reservation is two hours. When we were seated by the hostess on the evening of our visit, she also reiterated that there was two hour limit for our seating. We voiced our understanding and agreement. From the time we were seated, were served drinks, our respective salads and entrees, just under two hours had gone by. At that time, our waiter offered us the dessert menu and we ordered three desserts. While waiting, a restaurant manager, (I’ll call him “Polo Shirt Guy” since he did not state his name) came to our table. He asked us if we were enjoying our meal and in the same breath and in an unnecessary louder tone reminded us of the two hour dining limit. This was especially embarrassing since his voice made it very clear to the couples seated adjacent to us on the right and left that we had essentially over-stayed our welcome at Ten3. We immediately let Polo Shirt Guy know that we had just finished our main meal and had ordered dessert as offered by our waiter. Polo Shirt Guy looked annoyed and walked away. Shortly thereafter, I did let our waiter know of this situation and he was immediately apologetic. Some minutes later I saw Polo Shirt Guy walking toward the entrance to the room and shoot a “look” over at me. I guess that the waiter had told him of our encounter with him. I was certain of this later as I excused myself from the table for a moment and upon my return, found out that he had come over and apologized to my daughter and my husband. I’m relatively certain Polo Shirt Guy waited and took an opportunity to avoid me. But, I could be wrong. For full disclosure and to be fair, our waiter arranged for our ordered desserts to be comped. With that being said, paying over $300.00 before tip, even with the compensation, I would expect a bit more courtesy, professionalism and quite frankly finesse, from management staff, in this case, Polo Shirt Guy. If it wasn’t for our waiter, and the overall dining experience, I would have second thoughts about...
