St. Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church — Local services in Four Corners States

I've only been here once went to the Greek festival had a pretty good time it would be fun to go here on an off-day to tour the church and the sanctuary and maybe spend some time in reflection.

The Greek festival was good the music was interesting the dancing was good. The food was pretty good though I'm originally from back east and used to Greek restaurants the food was decent it was authentic kind of pricey kind of small portions and really really really really long lines probably the only place you could get a real spanakopita anywhere in Southern Arizona outside of Phoenix Valley region the Spinnaker Pita was real good kind of small but it was authentic it tasted handmade and homemade. I have had better but it was still real good I would give it a B+. I don't know I gave this 5 stars because I had a good time there it was descent when you go to a festival anywhere it's always going to be overpriced and overcrowded in you're going to have to wait for everything but none the less I thought it was a pretty cool place so I would recommend this place and if you are Eastern Orthodox I'm sure you would find some good fellowship and spiritual encouragement here many blessings to you all Jesus is the...

This church is all about money. No moral compass. I know that “Father” Anthony granted fraudulent annulments back in the day. Literally would have his parishioners lie to qualify for an ecclesiastic divorce. I bet he was taking “donations” to do so. His parishioners think they aren’t committing adulatory because they obtained a fake annulment. News for those people. God hates divorce. You lied to get the annulment? You are more concerned about being seen as innocent to be remarried in your church than honoring God. This is idolatry in addition to adultery as you are still married in Gods eyes. The Greek festival was more like the "Stand In Line" festival. You pay to get in but that doesn't "get" you anything other than more things to pay for and more lines. The line for food took 40 minutes. The blow up play areas for kids is pay per use. $1 gets my three year old a 16 second run though the only three year old play area.
