I rented a ramada payed $25 for it. I may say that getting approved was very difficult to begging with, in order to apply I had to set up my alarm to 15 min before midnight because its first come first served type of thing . We were finally approved after 2 weeks of trying and we were under the assumption that we were going to have it for the whole day... only to find out they had scheduled someone else right after me. My time was from 11 to 5 according to the notes that the park stuck on the pillar of our ramada. Long story short our party was crashed by the other party at 4 pm. An hour before our time expired according to the paperwork, I had to rush and pick up all the food and things that belong to us because the other party were waiting on me to wrap it up. I was rushed and our party came to an abrupt end didn't even had time to open presents for my daughter's first birthday. I am very disappointed to say the least. Why would anyone scheduled parties back to back other than greed is beyond me. Also trying to carry all the parties supplies was a hassle since you literally have to walk a couple of blocks to get to the ramadas because theres no easy acces to them. My experience was awful I just wish yours won't be as...
Read moreLet's face it, Tucson is hot. Part of me is glad that there are parks around the city for people to enjoy, while the other part of me wonders why most of the parks across the city are dry and bland. That's how Brandi Fenton is. There's plenty of space, good parking, horse trails, soccer fields and other things but it's not very pleasing on the eye. Compare it to something in Phoenix and you'll be disappointed. I wish it has some type of "oasis vibe" but it doesn't. The closest thing to that is it's water park towards the back but it's more like a concrete slab with some water guns and overprotective parents that think you must say "excuse me" every time you accidentally bump into them. I almost got swamped by a group of Mexicans because I didn't say "excuse me" when I bumped into a woman and she demanded that I say something. I told her no, simply. There's thousands of kids around and if I were to say excuse me for every time that happened, I wouldn't stop running my mouth because you're constantly getting nudged by others. Life in Tucson right? It's not the Park's fault, which is why I'm still...
Read moreThis is a lovely clean and family friendly park for all ages, playgrounds, soccer & football fields, bball courts etc. Beautiful art work located through out campus with architecture thats been around for many generations, lots of informational history lessons displays through out . Its set up very nicely and located directly along the river walk bike path. I was very dissapointed in the city when I recently discovered they moved a homeless camp ground from where they hqd been squating and placed them right across from this beautiful park. Now when you look from the childrens playground at the river walk bike path across the wash you see a huge homeless camp. I'm all for helping the homeless and have absolutely nothing against them they deserve & need a place to go- but I don't believe it should be located at a childrens playground & park. It's a huge mess which isnt sanitary and it brings all sorts of people which could mean its possible their could be those who shouldn't be around children. I just Don't think its a good...
